Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Hello,

I have an error whenever I try to play the game. The error is "object reference not set to an instance of an object." I have tried everything that I could think of to solve the problem. I have played it on vanilla and I have tried modded. For the most part I try it on vanilla so that way I know I will have less issues. I have verified the game. I have deleted the game and reinstalled. I have tried most of these steps a few different times. I have switched the alpha I'm on hoping that it might help fix it. I have also just downloaded the newest one hoping to play it, but still without luck. I deleted all the folders with 7 days to die on it including the roaming one under AppData. I have read a few different threads that sounded similar and tried those ways of fixing it all still without success. I've tried without AntiCheat.  I don't know what file is missing that won't let me play. It is usually right when it wants to create a character. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is my favorite game to play. I play single player on windows.

Looks like a corrupt profile. 

 

Follow the instructions in the blue banner to completely clean everything out.

Open the game launcher

Go to Tools

Click Open Game Settings

Delete that registry folder that it opens up (look on the bottom left for 7 Days to Die)

You should be good now
