Summary: When ever I generate a world biggest cities no matter the biome always have their ground missing and its not possible to go into those areas, it will rubberband you back as if its a out of bounds game limitation.

 

Game Version: A20.6

Platform: Steam

OS/Version: Windows 10

CPU Model: Intel i7-10700k

System Memory: 16 GB

GPU Model and VRAM: nVidia GTX 1070 SC Black 8 GB

Screen Resolution: 1920x1080

Video Settings: Ultra 

Game mode: SP

 

Did you wipe old saves? Yes

Did you start a new game? Yes

Did you validate your files? Yes

Are you using any mods? No

EAC on

Bug Description:I have experienced this world gen bug on multiple occasions be it in A19, A20 its still persistent and very annoying, when this underground empty thing happpens surrounding blocks will be affected as well such as asphalt not being straight and causing you to get stuck over speed breakers using bike and motorcycle mostly and can even cause you to crash your gyro if you fly over them. Detailed steps to reproduce the bug:

 

1)Generate a custom world with 10k(in my case)

2)Find the biggest city with tier 5 POIs

3)Where the city is densest this bug will happen and POIs will appear floating.

If you press F11 to take a screenshot, it will show the seed name and location of the error.

Barring that, can you provide the seed name and location of a world where this happens.

Also provide your output log.

Also the second photo is not a bug but just the way terrain blocks behave when they meet build blocks.

I cannot reproduce this and guessing at an infinity of possible seeds is not productive. If you could provide a seed and coordinates that show this, that would be helpful.

Your logs are in %appdata%\7DaysToDie\Logs.

Okay I was looking at somewhere diffrent for the logs, here are the logs from appdata location uploaded to my drive every single one of them had this problem.

Latest log gets really wild,

Failed setting triangles. Some indices are referencing out of bounds vertices. IndexCount: 687, VertexCount: 189

Thank you for quick resolution, I think when fun pimps added extended random gen big cities with urban plazas and overpasses my game probably didn't update properly thats why those dense cities had void in them but I just been into one and its gone altough issue is persistent on saves created before I deleted the prefabs folder and downloaded it again.
