Did you start a new game and re-create the issue? Y

Have you validated your files through Steam? Y

After validation, did you re-try with a brand new game? Y

When attempting to join a world I have been on in the past it causes my friends game to crash. Troubleshooting steps we took:

Multiplayer friends only server hosted by my friend.

No mods.

My log file: https://pastebin.com/GZsnKQ9t

Host log file: https://pastebin.com/CazqxsBP

So far no success any help is appreciated!

I was about to post about the exact same issue. I was helping out a person looking to play 7 Days. They attempted to join a few different multiplayer games hosted by different people in different parts of the country. These hosts (one being myself while trying to help) all have hosted and have no issues hosting other players. When this specific player  joins the host server immediately gets sent to the desktop and 7 Days to Die closes. (For the Host).

There is no crash log and on reboot other players can join. No issues.
We have tried a full reinstall and also turning Motion Blur off.
We are at a loss and with no crash log all I can provide is a host log files before the crashes:

Hope more logs help

Did the player who has the problem

1) delete his old configuration per steam launcher?

3) excempt the games directory and the savegame location from the firewall?

4) has visual C++ redistributable 2022 installed?

Unsuccessful. Same result as before.
However we did make progress. They have never seen the DL section of loading in. So progress is being made.

I don't see any errors in your log, it just abruptly stops with the player attempting to connect. Can you check with the player if they have exempted the game folder from their antivirus/antimalware software? It is not enough to turn off the software as there is still some functions active when you turn it off. There is a way with each antivirus program to create an exclusion. For me, personally, I exclude the entire Steam folder but if you want to be safer, just exclude the 7DaystoDie folder.
