Today I got disconnected and when I went to rejoin I couldn't get past the Creating Player section. I have done file validation and a clean install. Not running any mods and using A20 Stable. Have them launch the 7 days to die launcher through Steam, click the tools tab and clear all game data. You'll lose the world, saves, everything. It should clear up any issues that you have.
