Can someone define exactly what these errors mean?

I know they are caused by a mod being inserted into the game but the game wasn't getting this error before so i'm guessing one mod is conflicting with another but i need clarification. I've googled this error and it seems no one has given a "defined" answer as to why this occurs, they always just throw links at people which explains nothing most of the time, it's just a download to replace the file. One person explained that the items were being spelled wrong but i ran the list against them and ,since they worked in 17.2 and were common items that were not due to change in name any time soon, i couldn't get a grasp on what really causes the error.

id 9 is backpacks

 

id 10 is garbage bags

 

id 25 is for birds nests

 

 

I am assume you had a modlet that destroys birds nest and garbage bags and / or backpacks on close .... it may be another mod has removed those loot container id's completely from the game and now the other mod is now looking for the id numbers but can not find the loot id's.

Thanks for the info, i'll remove that mod of yours and see if it helps.

 

 

UPDATE: You were right, it was your trash mod that was causing the whole problem....wow

 

Kudos on that one.

 

I did really like that mod. Got a version that doesn't give those errors when using with some other mods? I think it was conflicting with Stallion's Special Forces bags mod.

I think that must have been another similar mod because mine does not do the birds nests thing or touch it .

Anyways at least you have an explanation on the error .

 

Modlet combinations can conflict with each other unfortunately, but if i could make my mods compatible I with others I would need to know which specific modlets you are using.

 

I will look at stallion's special forces mod and see wether mine would conflict , give me a bit of time to check this out for you .

I have had a deep look at the special forces modlet and that does not reference any of the id's in your error log !!

 

The special forces bag adds brand new loot id's at 221,222, and 223 ... for each of the three starter bags.

 

 

My mod would not conflict with Stallions mod at all as my mod uses loot id 139 only, theres obviously a conflic according to your messages , but it may be with another mod.

 

What other mods do you have installed that would affect birds nests id 25 and backpacks id 9 ...

 

 

It may be Donovans take out trash modlet as it references id 9 , 10 and 25 as well as 48 ?

I'm just glad you mentioned you mod because that made it clear up like (snap) :p I wonder if i found an older version that might have clashed or have you removed those elements since day 1?

It looks very familiar .... problem is as you say been around a long while on these forums and an avid mod user myself since A14, played so many modded UI's in diff mods ... if I remember i will reply ;)

I did post, i just hoped you might know it...But you know, i was thinking about the two mods not clashing for you and that's quite possible. Unless you're using all the same mods as me it's quite possible you might get a different reaction. One thing i've come to notice, about modding, is that sometimes a mod you're not expecting to do anything will somehow throw a monkey wrench into your whole "perfect" setup. lol

Yeah thats why I removed all mods and just started a game with just the two that we thought may be a problem , if i had all your modlets then i would add them back one by one until the actual mod that is conflicting shows up.

 

So my motto now is if in doubt take em all out :)

 

 

So yeah is think there is this other mod somewhere in your set up that is clashing with mine and stallions.

 

Yeah can be frustrating that monkey wrench sometimes but thats modding lol

Another thing you could do... (what I ended up doing)

Consolidate all your mods into their appropriate xml's and slap them in your own folder then you are guaranteed to find any errors that may arise due to conflicts.

I had quite a few mods (that I've been checking out) and It took me forever to get them all working together so I said EF it and slammed them all into their own xml's... found a few conflicts, fixed them an BLAM... no more errors.

It helps me to learn the xpath stuff a bit more and leads me to investigating the games files more and more.

I call it file forensics lol
