    Darkness Falls is a game overhaul, not a simple mod.  And while I wouldn't ordinarily make efforts to make my mod compatible with conflicting mods, I certainly don't have the resources to do that for an entire overhaul.  You'll need to speak with the author of Darkness Falls and see if he's willing to merge assets and localizations, but it may be more complicated than that.  Only he'd know.

    GENERAL INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:

    Download and extract modlets to your 7 Days to Die /Mods folder.

     

    For Steam users, that's <steamdir>\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die\Mods (create 'Mods' if it doesn't exist).

     

    Once extracted if the mod contains a /Prefabs folder, then move the files in the mod's /Prefabs folder to your 7 Days to Die /Data/Prefabs folder.

     

    For Steam users, that's <steamdir>\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die\Data\Prefabs ('Prefabs' will already exist; if you can't find it, you're in the wrong place).

     

    Some mods require (or strongly recommend) you to start a new game.

  7. Hi! Thanks for the mod. I've been loving it but I've hit a problem with it. I placed my first excavator today. Once I placed it, the game starting going crazy with sounds and the frame rate died.

    I logged out and tried to log back in again. I got a "null reference" error and now I can't enter my world. It's on a local dedicated server for your infomation.

    I hope we can solve this. Cheers. the jaff

    There are some cool Marijuana plant assets on the unity store.. Was going to make a mod like this myself, but haven't ventured into that whole realm of modding in textures, models etc. Only XML modifications so far.

    I'm working on it -- I am not familiar with Unity or working with or creating models, but I've got the basics down I think.

     

    Here's an updated model I'm using in a debug version of the mod:

  9. Hi, your mod seems really cool to play but me and my friend cannot get it to work. we have followed the instructions but it still doesn't work. we also have the SMX mod by Sirillion. any advice on what we can do.

     

    As mentioned before, other mods that reduce the forge inputs by reskinning are not supported. You have to go to those mod authors and have them add supports for extra inputs to the forge.

    If you want to report an issue to me about a mod I've written, be clear, provide details including screen shots, full descriptions of the issue or issues including how to reproduce the problem, and what you expect versus what actually happened. Try to be as specific as possible and use complete, English sentences. I can't help you if you can't give me info about the problem you're having. Finally, make sure you are experiencing the issue with only my mod loaded. I can't troubleshoot mod compatibility issues with other mod authors.
