  1. 1st. the registry is not dieing, maybe go into the registry and have a look at "Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\" (i have a lot of games using this now) and other structures in the registry.. it aint only for ms windows to use.

    you'll see quite a lot of use there.

     

    2nd. (and i could be wrong) but i seem to remember a lot of command line arguments were being added to the options xml/txt file that is no longer used.. this was breaking game aspects and creating a lot of bug reports or complaints for something it wasnt meant to do.. (i reiterate- i could be wrong) some worked and some didnt.

     

    3rd. all player options that the player is allowed to change CAN be done in the game options menu... anything aside from that usually spells trouble later.

  3. may not be what youre experiencing but there is the "Q" which is "God Mode" and then there is "H" which isnt "god Mode". "H" lets you fly and move about sorta like God Mode but you do not have no clip while in the "H" mode.

     

    supposedly "God Mode" is to keep you alive while doing certain things in game as an admin i believe, which is is probably why we have no clip and such because it being used by server admins for various reason.

     

    i really do not understand why we even have the "H" mode. if you didnt know about "H" mode then....

     

    1. turn "DM" on

    2. hit "H"

    3. now jump up and soar through the sky

    4. remember, you cant no clip through objects

    5. get back to ground and the hit "H" again to turn off

    6. now hit "Q" - this is God Mode

     

    also i may not catch it when discussing this but i remapped my "God Mode" key to "G" like G=god.... yeah i know some other games use Q as well... but for me the time to hit the G key is the same as you hitting the Q key only for me... G makes me feel better and in my game thats what counts... everyone else feels differently about it.

     

    anyways... check to see if "H and G" act differently in your case to help or make worse.

  4. there are 2 things i learned about the snow biome in a19 so far... nothing there for me and the kitty cats will bite off the hand that feeds them. :)

     

    as far as too op... nope they are not, the snow biome is not meant to be a warm walk in the park just as the desert is not easy neither and we all know that the wastelands is a no no for the new under geared characters. these areas are designed to be harsh for a reason (time will tell).

     

    so if you are in any area that is not part of the forest biome and not getting geared up.. you are treading out on thin ice on your own. enjoy and live long (if you can).

    you will need to copy or move the entire mods folder out of the game and re verify files to have steam reset the configs. even if you disable some command lines (if any)... the game will always look for a mods folder and apply any within.

     

    then try the game as vanilla (hopefully if all is clean), it should run fine... after that, then add 1-2 mods back at a time after checking for errors until you find that one or ones that are causing problems... then contact the mod creator for their support.

    I ditch the club for the baseball bat as soon as I can get it. I'll finish off the Z's with it if they survive my first shot. My only complaint is it makes the aluminum bat sound when I hit them in the head. I prefer the ding you get from wood bats. It's the best way to relieve frustration after coming home from work.

    i am exclusive melee fighter until BM 14+ then i have to use a weapon until i run out of ammo.. but yes... when i can make the bat... its all bets off for the therapy session.

  8. no there is no command to complete a quest.

    as others have stated and you found out that if you miss an area there will not be an indicator unless the xml tag has been met...

    EG:

    <property name="ShowQuestClearCount" value="3" /> the number simply means the remaining yellow dots wont show unless you have reached the number (in this example - 3) are still alive/not killed |(so if you missed more then that number you shouldnt see an indicator and if you stepped into the volume you will get the red dots.

     

    on my pois i set that number to match the tier number of the poi.

     

    as roland says... you can just ignore it if it failed and grab it again when/if available.

    2. There appears to be a computer desk beside the sedan, not sure if it's just a new art asset for Mo Power or it may be just the same shelf art that we already have. It does seem to have a laptop on it.

    3. All the way on the left side, you can just barely see a sliver of what looks to be a shipping container, in different blue and green. I would assume they would go on the trailer bed.

    2. nope, its a shelf variation of electronics store (which is in game not new) *note screen shot i added has a laptop on the top shelf just like you see in your reference pic
