  1. ah yes, i see it, thanks.. i dropped it from a max of 10 to 2.5 and seems to be perfect, for me at least. and i may boost the damage they deal back up slightly.. like maybe to 5.. i was mainly wanting no digging and no jumping, but this is a good start. Thanks for the mods!

  2. in the Zombie Modification 2 (the one with Rage), how do i reduce the random get up time from the zeds.. it seems a bit cheaty when i beat a cop to death with a level 2 club on warrior difficulty because he won't stand up... i like the randomness,.. i just want to lower the max time down.

  4. ok, thanks.. where do i put them? I see a folder called Nitrogen files (i feel stupid that i overlooked that last night), but i dont see in the install instructions where i am suppose to put those.

  5. i installed the CompoPak44 as per the instructions there, and when i go to create a new map, the only options for the prefab lists are: A19 vanillia (default), A18 vanillia, A18 Compopak, and Custom. 

    is there a file or something i need to add to the Nitrogen files in order to get the option for compoPak44? 

    The only thing i have done is copy/paste the prefabs from the folder into my main 7days to die prefab folder.

    Even using specs that meet requirements like the OP has, I have been unable to replicate this issue. I'm going to be pulling out that old craptop I have in a minute to test though. Like yours it has a weak CPU and inbred GPU stealing the RAM.

    ok, thanks. but now im pissed because the s**t head at best buy lied to me. i just bought this PC 6 weeks ago and he told me the graphics card was intel, but that it was rated similar to gforce 1080. i'm about to go (redacted)

    And just for reference, I set up a desktop that almost exactly met minimum specs last night, and could not replicate this issue in either a18 or a19.

    keeping them updated though is Top Dedication and you deserve credit and Thanks. 

    also, the Quests for the classes dont seem to work.. not sure if its on my end with other mods, but the only mod i have that messes with quests, aas far as i know, is my own which gives bonus skill points when completing trader Tier quests

    As far as I know there should be no issue using a NitroGen map with Gnamod, or any other map designed to work with the vanilla game. Gnamod does a lot of alterations that happen post generation so to say, so POIs and the world are transformed but it does not really matter where the original world was generated. If it includes custom biomes or mod specific POIs then it will likely not work well. It should also not really have an issue with CompoPack or similar POI packs or worlds using those. The mod is designed to work over anything build with vanilla building blocks. I cannot say it will be balanced but it will work.

     

    Gnamod does do some alterations of the RWGMixer if that is used, so its world output is different than the vanilla game, but it is by no means the only way to play the mod. Before A17 changed how worlds where made the Mixer played a much more important role for the mod, but when A18 took the ability to easily add custom biomes the mod focus had to change.

  10. EpicSpire's A19 Trader Reward system

     

    The skill points you receive are for after completing each Tier, not after each quest. 

    I've seen a lot of Mods/Modlets that increase the number of skill points per level, but personally think that this is more balanced for my style of play.  I'm not trying to dis on those mods, we need more skill points in the game, but i think earning them is a bit more balanced. 

    Tier 1 =3 Skill Points
    Tier 2 = 4 Skill Points
    Tier 3 = 5 Skill Points
    Tier 4 = 5 Skill Points
    Tier 5 = 6 Skill Points
    Tier 6 = 8 Skill Points

    For Games already in Progress.

    If you do not wish to restart your world, and have already completed some Tier quests for the trader, type the following lines into the game console (Press F1 in-game)

    For each tier that you completed:
    givequest quest_tier1complete
    givequest quest_tier2complete
    givequest quest_tier3complete
    givequest quest_tier4complete
    givequest quest_tier5complete
    givequest quest_tier6complete

    Then go talk to any trader. You'll get all the rewards including the skill points.

  11. i absolutely love this tool.

     

    i would like to make a suggestion, however, I'm not sure how easy it would be to implement. i would like to see an option, maybe a slider like the landscape section, but for biomes. so we can dictate how rare or common a specific biome is.

     

    I love having the border set to wasteland, and that being the only area waste land is, but doing this removes burnt forest from my world because there is no choice to just have wasteland removed.

  12. possible bug

     

    as i craft bandages and first aid bandages, my medicine skill increases - is this suppose to happen? i haven't seen any other skill increase while i craft stuff (arrows, stone axes, golden rod tea, or even splints) i do notice on the description of bandages and first aid bandages that "Medicine" is listed twice, but on splints it is only listed once and Misc Crafting is listed in the other spot.

     

    this is with the 5.3.1 update
