  1. I dont think you quite get what i did. I right clicked in steam on 7 days to die, and uninstalled it. To nothing. If TFP are using directories that exist outside that structure of an uninstall software button they need to perhaps not. I shouldnt have to go digging throught the dark reaches of my computer to look for scrap files by hand.
  2. Its been reinstalled, 7 days has a folder stashed away in %AppData% that apparently is separate from when you full uninstall.
  3. During the initial rounds yes Teragon still had files in the roaming section of 7 days which i was unaware of, i wiped the mods folder out of there now and tried again it still does it. Id be curious if anyone else can try to generate a map to see if its actually a thing or something on my end. I did feel dumb, cuz i reported the whole thing with mods no and then as i was reading subsequent logs i noticed it was calling to mods on my C Drive and i was like wth I dont run 7D off my C drive. Atleast its still broken though so it wasnt a complete waste, something is wrong.
  4. So i noticed in the log that it calls to a mod folder in the C Drive, I didnt know a mod folder existed there i did a full uninstall reinstall of 7 days for the new alpha and didnt know about that. I wiped the Teragon files and tried again and it still errors

On Status: NEW Bug Description: Any attempt to generate a map with Towns - None results in an exception error and the map generation hangs Detailed steps to reproduce the bug: 1) Advanced Generation any configuration with "Towns > None" Actual result: (description of what is occurring) Error Pops up during generating highways and then halts there. Longest wait test was 15 minutes which is excessive for a map with almost no POIs.   6. I thought that too but its literally just the towns section. Probably still worth a report but i loaded up a new map gen, left EVERYTHING default and the only thing i touched was Towns - None and it broke with that error again even with all 4 biomes present.
  7. Whenever I try to create a map with these settings this error pops up and then sits on generating highways forever. Considering this map SHOULD have next to nothing on it it should be a speed gen. Can anyone else try to create a map with these settings and see if you get the same error or tell me if theres something i can tweak to unbreak it. EDIT: It seems like its tied to Towns: None. If the game cant handle generating a map with that setting why is it selectable?
  8. serious note though ive got probably close to 40,000 rounds of 7.62 and ive crafted none, and i sprint buildings with an M60 just spraying with reckless abandon and i usually double to triple my carried ammo every raid.
  9. Well to be fair the game is canonically in Arizona and we have crazy @%$# like this in the middle of massive developed sprawls.

Well the main philosophy aside my issue is when the game fails to actually trigger these events, so you have to just fail the quest and drive away because something in the code went tits up and the zombies physically wont *exist* for me to kill and end the quest. Like in the 2nd screenshot that button is supposed to open the door, but its not interactable, and the zombies dont exist inside the room unless you "trigger" the button therefore even by breaking into the room they dont exist for me to kill and the entire quest was wasted.
  11. Whoever is the one to activate the quest loots the entire building, the other players clear it for them, you all take a quest and do it this way. It works fine, all primary mags are done, we are now just reading each others mags for the lulz and we have more Q6 weapons and ammo than god himself.
  12. Old post i saw on WoW during WotLK kinda applies in the abstract. "Dont look for logic in the game that sends you dragon mounts in the mailbox." Games gonna game even if i sorta agree, just make the water poisonous so you can scoop the water but if you drink it it kills you. Players still are ferried to the dew collectors but if you REALLY wanna get the immersion experience you can have the 7 days version of zomboids drink bleach lol.
  13. Olgiddy again broke at the same point, is anyone else having just an abnormal quanitity of quest failures due to these non activatable event triggers?
  14. The sleepers that trigger via buttons or events need to go, just make them spawn in like normal this is getting tedious when so many of the event conditions can clearly just fail.
