slow login times

[grrmisfit]

connecting to a dedicated server takes from connect to actual entering of game 2+ mins while others with bare specs are taking less then 1.

last message isnt exactly when i joined im sure its actually a few seconds later.

 

generating distant terrain seems to take the longest.

2. Make sure your client is fully excluded from all antivirus software, and allowed through the firewall.

3. When this is occurring, take a traceroute to the server you are trying to connect to.

tried 1 and 2 and its still the same.. its about 1 minute from clicking connect to "generating distant terrain" then about another minute after that till actually in game.
