Pendral
I'd go for plastic Tupperware containers.... two sizes : Glass Jar size for single liquid and BiG Tub size for stacking One food type.... e.g. : One Tupperware takes up one space.... put all your raw venison in ONE tub... all your raw pork in another... NON-Craftable... must find the plastic containers...
Vinyl
You can make a kind of plastic substance from milk + vinegar. It has a youtube called turn milk to stone.
TheObserver
Along those same lines, we should be able to use the oil products that will be coming along to make plastics, as well - given that oil is a main component of them.
Omega
Well though out, well presented and a good idea. Perhaps the tupperware could only hold one meal and hopefully when TFP sort out the food bar it will make more sense.
Robert512
Anyway, this one of the best idea´s that should be implemented in a future update, it would add a whole new class of items, tupperware + venison stew, Tupperware + grilled venison, ect.. Plastic bottles is downright genius. Like I said in the other thread, plastic should have more uses, if weather is going to be implemented you could use plastic to make raincoats or poncho's. And plastic sheets would have several uses, cover up traps and as a method of water gathering in the dessert. Dig a hole, place a bottle in the middle, cover it with a plastic sheet with a stone in the middle. Even the tiny amounts of moisture in the air will condense on the plastic and trickle down towards the bottle, it won't be much, but it is drinkable. There are many items that are already in the item list (but not as a recipe) that can use plastic in their creation. The auger, chainsaw, flashlight, fridge, and cooler to name a few. LarsingeM
I havent liked a lot of the plastic ideas i`ve seen but i love the tupperware idea. Rain collector would be good if you could draw a limited amount of clean water jars from it. Well done sir.

Rudra
Good OP idea ! It would be nice to use plastic recipes to store/collect water/food or to craft into other things as a raincoat. But I don't think it is possible to mold/forge plastic, as mostly of them are derived from petroleum, I think they would just burn in the mold.
