Jago971
So I'm quite new to the game so constantly refer the the wiki. My question is about discontinuation of blocks. I keep seeing it says they are discontinued yet they are still in my game. I assume this is because I'm on console and with us being behind and all. But if they are indeed being discontinued, what happens to your build once they are? Does the block vanish from your game? Does it make the save unplayable? What happens and should I avoid building with what it says are discontinued blocks. Thanks in advance!
Gazz
On console I honestly can't say because they had to use a much more complicated way to save games. https://7daystodie.com/forums/showthread.php?60079 This is what would have happened on PC... ZombieHoG
Still have a playable game generated before the 'summerupdate'. With this update new blocks were introduced. So i asume that the blockvarity is conneted to the generation of the map. Old maps -> old blocks and new maps -> new blocks (i think)
Gazz
Actually... I believe the XML files are cached for savegames but when graphics and other more "hardcore" game files change, the game is likely to loose it's lunch. =P
