vom
Someone bought me this game years ago, it's really the only game I have on Steam. I like it a lot. It's what I wanted years before. Minecraft with zombies that break down doors. It's a pretty great game! So congrats on 1.0 and sorry about all the crybabies. I know I cried about the water changes some, but I've learned to accept dysentery as a fact of life. I heard some dev say the voxel concept was a mistake, but I think it's great. It's really innovative, with so much space to build. I'm looking forward to really playing around with the POI editor again. I think a lot of players play this game wrong (haha), mainly I play dead is dead - permanent death makes it more engaging. I do find the 7 day horde kind of repetitive and tedious, and I have turned that off and replaced it with Khaine's Wandering Horde mod. I also use the Headshot only mod, 25% exp gain, and no loot respawn. I also turn airdrops off. Maybe someday I'll set up a PvP server with those settings. I remember my first night in 7 Days to die, I was in a forest somewhere and surrounded myself with spikes. I didn't realize zombies would run at night, and it was pretty scary but somehow I survived. I lived in a little hut for a few more days until the dogs got me. Since then, it has been a succession of short towers, surrounded by spikes, but since removing the psychic 7 Day Horde I've enjoyed focusing on more immersive content. The wandering horde mode really changes things, as the horde can come at any time, but it's not psychic so you can generally avoid it (if you notice quickly enough haha). Well, it looks like it's time to paradrop into the Old Cayhuga territory. I've heard there are some survivors here, but maybe not? No survivors here... ElCabong
I'll never forget my first night playing 7 days to die either. I was on the roof in that desert junkyard. Don't know if it's still there in Navasgane or not. The place was crawling with zombies. As soon as it turned daylight I was able to get down off the roof and deal with the ones that managed to aggro me. It got to where I would frequently go to that junkyard and turn it into my base. It didn't take that much work although I had to partially dismantle cement stairs. I hunted rabbits from the roof
