About dedicated server offline - A21

Hello everyone, in A20 I was able to start a dedicated server and join it even that I have no internet connection.

But in A21 I'm able to start the Dedicated server but can't join it because when you in offline mode the option "Join a game" is greyed out.

The reason I wanna play in dedicated because it gives you more FPS, at least in my case that I have a spare ram (I have 64GB).

Also more options are available in dedicated server config.

And in my pc I don't an internet access, so what could be possibly done?

I also couldn't find a console command for joining a server, for example 'connect 127.0.0.1'

You have not been able to join a dedicated server without internet since the game has existed on Steam. The server requires Steam authentication on player connection.

 

A dedicated server could only increase your FPS is you were running it on another system. Running a dedi and a client on the same computer basically doubles your CPU utilization by the clients.
