Hi! This is my first mod for 7 days to die. I made it for personal use while I walk my first steps in the game (quite fun so far, but dying a lot 😋), but I am happy to share it with you. 

 

This mod is intended to add or improve decorations for your bases. I will be adding new stuff that I find nice or interesting, and I am open for requests or suggestions 🥰

 

This is the current content, so far:

 

- Makes the End Table Lamps a powerable light source, to light your base with a warm and nice looking light. Power consumption: 5W

Update v 1.0.1:

        - Makes the reptile terrarium, the piano, gym equipment and medical equipment pickupable.
        - Makes the preview pictures smaller, for a smaller download.
        - Updated ModInfo file.
        - Added a changelog file to the download ☺️

 

Add a nice Reptile terrarium to your base, pythons and cobras are nice pets and "perfectly safe to keep" (Disclaimer: I am not responsible for any missing limbs or poisoning cases 😉😞

 

Do you want a piano? No problem, just grab it and run away. Does it make any sense? Probably no, but the idea of you fighting zombies while carrying a piano on your back makes me laugh:

 

Arrange a home clinic in your base, probably necessary after your reptile pet tries to eat you or you try to run with a piano on your back:

 

Once you recover from your injuries it is time to train those muscles, lets pump iron in your own private gym!:

 

Right now no practical use other than decoration for your base. I will try to make some of the stuff functional in some way once I learn a bit more 😋.

Hi there, nice mod!

 

This is how I started learning - very simple modifications at first, then if I wanted to do something but didn't know how I'd look for similar fuctionality in the xml or borrow ideas from others.
Eventually, it expanded so much that we released it as a mod: 

I'm locked out of that account now (email no longer exists), but I'm currently working on a new mod, which is a Casino with working slot machines.

Keep going with your mod!

Oh wow a casino!? I always wanted to play a map that was all desert and a big city, sort of apocalypse in Las Vegas, that would fit perfect! 🥰

Yes! I've already got the slots working, just changing the interface, also have got roulette tables 😀

You talking about the new NPC?
Lol, you don't find them... they find you!
You get turned into a random creature/animal if they find you... and you must survive until the next dawn in that form (kinda like Ladyhawke). If you survive, you turn back to yourself with no problems... if not, you suffer either a debilitating debuff or lengthy curse for angering the witch!
