Flymode speed

Hi,

 

Is there a way to adjust the flymode speed? I've googled for an answer but what has been suggested is +/- either keyboard or numpad and none of that works for me. I'm decorating a base atm and this requires some subtle movement. Every hint is appreciated.

Shift + +/-

in single play game this works for me: (i know you probably know of these but i am merely explaining the change for me that WORKS)

1. open console "f1" type "dm" hit "enter" close console

2. use the mapped key for god flying (i mapped mine to "G" not "Q")

3. hit space bar to get in the air

4. press and hold the forward key "W"

5 while moving i hit the "keypad" "+"/"-" noticing that my speed does change.

 

here is video showing it does work for me on a non modded game a20 stable

FYI - in a21 shift + "+" will display new chunk grid markers.

Thanks to both of you for the swift  feedback.

 

Shift +/- seems to have no effect, neither on keyboard nor on numpad.

On numpad +/- while movving forward flying slows/accelerates time.  To do it on the keyboard I need  to use shift as minus (-) is the shifted underscore (_) and plus (+) is the shifted equal sign (=).

 

So, neither affects the flymode speed only but slowing down time will help a lot. Thanks 🙂

This pleases me greatly. Chunk grid will be very nice for base design and managing heat, if one so desires to break immersion for technical knowledge
