help someone help someone had this error it doesn't launch via steam only via C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die 2 files work manually run 7DaysToDie.exe and 7DaysToDie_EAC .exe and 7dLauncher does not start manually tried only with version alpha 14.7

I don't think you can start the game from the launcher in 14.7. Do you get the error in 20.3?

From the 7 Days to Die Steam game launcher, select "Tools", then select "clean game data...".

Check all the boxes and select "Clean".

After that, validate your files through Steam.

I understood your idea. "delete the game via steam" is it so if so then this one did not help yes and I cleared the registry deleted what is connected with 7 Days to Die even the game folders

 

and yet I think that something remained from 7 Days to Die only where to remove this

If you want to play an earlier version like A14 I think you should completely delete your game directory (with Windows Explorer). And then change to the wanted alpha and validate in steam.

 

Do anything less and you will have files from other alpha versions remaining and that will often lead to errors.

yes it helped. I deleted it many times, downloaded it again through Steam, and also deleted it through Steam. I used (Uninstall Tool) because it removes from the registry. and I deleted it manually in the registry. but remained after my actions, and not completely removed

You also have to delete save data from your %appdata%/7DaysToDie/Saves folder.
