Dedicated Server Reset to day 1 very limited render distance

I read the rules for posting I'm trying to follow them as closely as I can.

I have a dedicated server that is hosted through pingperfect.com.

My buddy messaged me on discord yesterday asking if I could restart the server since it now days it is day one when we were somewhere in the 20's i believe.  All our inventory, skills, and things we built are there but it is missing some textures and the draw distance is now VERY limited on the server.

Server Log from when I think issue might have started:

Client Log from when I think issue might have started:

https://pastebin.com/AcA6vG5A

Recent Server Log:

https://pastebin.com/rmWMPhdf

Recent Client Log:

https://pastebin.com/hYyt9Kt5

Also I have attached a screenshot below to show what I'm talking about.

Also in looking into this I've realized I messed up rule one of running a server of making sure to backup often.  I have no old ones since I thought I had set up auto backups but I did not.

Any help would be appreciated also let me know if I've messed up anything in following posting rules.

Server logs look fine, but are cut off at the end. Either the server was not stopped properly, or the data you provided is incomplete.

Client log is full of audio errors. Should verify your files and ensure drivers are up to date.

For the server resetting to day 1. This is what happens when it is not shut down correctly and the main.ttw file is corrupted.

As for the view distance, you have it set to 6. The minimum is 5, and the maximum is 12.

Thanks for the reply.

Clearly I'm pretty new to running a game server.

I had verified my files before and double checked after you replied and they're good.

There was an audio driver that needed to be updated but all others were good.

I've maxed out draw distance to 12 on the server settings and I've added a new screenshot of the difference that makes.

If more than likely you think the issue is that the main.ttw file is corrupted and I'm screwed because of my own stupidity for not making sure I had backups of the server please don't waste your time looking through my logs. Just let me know I'm out of luck.

I've also redone all the server log files in my pastebin.com folder https://pastebin.com/u/thefrenchy 1-11 with 1 being the oldest one and 11 being the newest if you think that might help.

And once again thank you for your help.

I never run a server before but from a client perspective I would say your new logs are still incomplete compared to how a client log would look like.

In one of your log files I can see your world size is only 2048x2048:

"Biomes image size w= 2048, h = 2048"

thats really small. Too small if you ask me.

Wouldn't cause an issue though. As long as it's a factor of 1024 it will be fine.

Ok, it's a factor of 1024 - but how to generate such small worlds? My vanilla game is restricted at a minimum of 4k, also Nitrogen has that restriction imho (?).

The question is if this is really the world size they where playing before or at last the size related settings got corrupted.

If you're setting up a dedicated server, you type in the number for the map size into the config file.

If you want something similar for the game client, RedEagle wrote a mod for it.
