Duffmeister77
Hey guys, I'm looking to build a new PC for my girlfriend, as she has a lower mid range non-gaming laptop and has to use low settings for everything. But cost is a factor and I was wondering about saving a couple of hundred quid by putting together a system based around a Ryzen 3600 and RX Vega-64, with 16GB of RAM. Does anyone have experience of running the game with a spec like this? Could she get decent frame rates with high settings?
meganoth
I've got a Ryzen 2600x and a RX580 running on linux open source drivers. Full-HD at custom settings roughly corresponding to middle settings at 70-90 FPS without any big dips even at horde nights. I had to turn off reflections completely though because of a (linux-only) bug that might be fixed already, I tested it weeks ago. So I think the CPU is nowhere near a limit. And the vega in theory should easily be able to get decent frame rates at high settings, but that is just a guess.
erlgrey
playable but not so well in general. 25-50fps outdoor on high-ultra settings, but with af turned down to medium. (vega56) turning af down helps a lot, otherwise its unplayable.
