  2. glad you like the idea for a zombie shooting explosive bolts but it wouldn't make sense for the gunner but a brand new zombie like a demonic archer could do although demonic archer as a name is too generic so it would need a better name but im sure you'll have some ideas.

    So I have been working some on the mod. What I have done so far:

    Predator got a new temporary skin.
    Cloaker bird removed.
    ScreamerBoss removed. Replaced by Atrocity, attacks are screams and they will stun you for 0,5 seconds. Very dangerous. (Similiar/same as Snufkins Banshee)
    Added new zombie (archetype) called RPG. This is the one who shoot rockets now and are a type of heavy soldier with a rocket launcher on his shoulder.
    Fireboss got a new cool skin. (This was added a year ago, but I never updated.)
    Added new zombie called RadRobot. Slow and has a skin that kinda looks robotic. Shoots a red beam that will hurt you over time. (This was added a year ago, but I never updated)


    What I plan to do:

    I plan to rework some zombies, like Ironman, Giant, Coptercorpse.


    I want to add some stuff to Ironman, maybe a helmet over his head.
    Giant need to change to another ragdoll than the biker. I could make an custom one in archetypes, but I do not think I can make him as big there.
    Coptercorpse need to get a bigger hitbox and maybe less hitpoints.


    I still want a zombie that can somehow throw grenades, but I dunno if its possible to do. Got many ideas that are kinda over the place.

    I am gonna add some lowered sounds when you buy at the trader too.

    So I am gonna fix the other mods also, but I am not quite sure what needs to be fixed other than that was written here. Seems there is not much errors. I dunno.

    Anyway I am a bit sick, headache and sore throat and I cannot sit in front of the PC that long before I need to rest. So do not expect things to be done too soon. ^^

    well the giant still uses a retextured copy of the old biker model but maybe the giant can be remodeled to look like a giant weight instead and an idea i had is maybe put some new visuals on the giant once updated such as visible armor or something. well the only thing similar to grenades is the explosive bolts so i thought maybe the gunner could shoot explosive bolts but that wouldn't make sense for many reasons but as far as I know explosive bullets might not be possible as TFP haven't added anything like that to base mods on. I hope they add Frag shotgun shells which are explosive. but the things in the recent update you mentioned sound really cool I cant wait to test them. also this isn't one of my ideas as I saw other people mention this but hopefully this mod can someday be compatable with the snufkin mod so we can have tons of crazy bosses.

    well im highly considering testing the snufkin addon again hopefully it works this time but if i see any errors like i mentioned ill get screenshots of the errors for you to look at. Although I think whats happening is i have the legitimate snufkin zombies mod along with this mod and not the addon so im getting the addon right now so i can test my theory. 

    if my theory ends up being false ill report all errors i encounter with screenshots.

    Mother Clucker is a large chicken with aggressive tendencies. Mother Clucker uses her eggs as projectiles for ranged attack and will readily peck at close range. While she is unable to fly, she has been known to leap high with wing assist. Mother Clucker was inspired from a Catman creation that was kept in a private server.

    Harvesting from Mother Clucker brings all regular chicken gains, as well as the opportunity to harvest eggs.

    Mother Clucker is usually quite passive until disturbed. Lower level players looking for a quick source of protein need to be on guard.

    this is cool its like the chicken demon from robelto's mod but its not undead meaning regular meat instead of rotten flesh.

  6. Oh @%$# sorry about that with the fire but glad to see you back in the game. I have some ideas for more crazy custom zombies in future updates but take all the time you need to fix all the bugs that were reported and let me know when your ready for some of my ideas. but I cant wait to do some code editing since I learned how to do that while you were away, now since this mod features several original features I will only do code editing on zombies with your approval. Also I dont make videos on youtube I wanted to but after they put some crazy policies into play in December of 2019 I decided not to make videos since i dont want to risk doing anything youtube may not end up liking and end up getting a $40000 fine... I'm serious if youtubers violate any of the new policies thats how much youtube will charge them in fines.

    A lot of players really like the concept of Thor's Hammer but find it to be 'heavy' and 'sluggish'. A regular baseline 'attacks per minute' for a Sledge Hammer is 30. At 20, Thor's Hammer was good for a Power Strike into a crowd of zombies but limited when picking off zombies a few steps away from each other due to the slower attack cycle. The increase in damage did not appear to be proportional to the slower hit rate and Thor's Hammer lost its appeal after any initial fun with it. Adding AOE candy benefit for the repulsor in a previous update was still not enough to address the limited attacks per minute and this weapon was seen as a novelty.

     

    This update provides a 10% increase in attacks per minute compared to a regular Sledge Hammer (30). This is comparable to other weapons in the Xpansion pack. In tests, a low tier zombie can be taken out with a single regular blow, but when zombie HP increases to the likes of the Lumberjack, it will require multiple regular hits. Thor's Hammer now feels more balanced in comparison to other weapons and this should make it a more viable stand alone weapon for players who prefer melee type game play. As with this class of weapon, stamina will drop quickly with power hits and Thor's Hammer will serve those who put their skill in the required physical and weapon traits for sledging. We hope this update addresses feedback shared over the past year.

    in following with the goals of apha 20, in which the wasteland biome should be tougher, i'm adding a couple more stronger zombies to that biome. i also felt like this biome should have more military presence, so i created 3 variations of swat zombies. they all hold stun batons and are stronger than normal soldiers.

     

    i've also created a stealth-like zombie that's masked and hooded like a ninja. 😁 they are quiet, fast, and dual-wield knives. they will only spawn during the nights in the wasteland. i've also created a new 'body harvest' addon that allows harvesting of all zombies - vanillas, enzombies, KHz zombies, and snufkin zombies. the resources obtained are customized based on what clothing, armor, and/or weapons they have on them.

     

    i'm debating on weather or not i should release what i've completed now, or keep adding more zombies and features and release this mod update after alpha 20 is out. what do you guys think?

     

     

    The first A20 dev stream confirmed the release date has been moved to passed halloween due to 127 bugs that were found as prime said but hopefully this final delay isn't too long like the previous ones it hasn't been so far. but while i recommend waiting for when A20 drops do what you choose.

    - Completely bullet proof. It could certainly take the trait of the Demolisher or Soldiers which causes HP ammo to be relatively useless. Other hit boxes are coded to the models and that would probably be a limiting factor to offering further bullet proofing.

    - A Moose type entity (similar to what stallionsden added to his animal fix mod) with the chicken model attached to the head area is as close as it would get to give those bovine looking long limbs and a birdy head. I believe the chicken model may look like the dead bird in its passive state.

     

    This YouTube suggests Big Charlie is a mutated deer with gigantism.

     

    oh yeah thats the version i was talking about. sorry my memory has gone down the @%$#ter moms got cancer and her treatment while its effective is painful at the same time so the last 4 months have been incredibly stressful. I hope i dont have any brain damage from all the stress but soon ill be talking to my doctor about getting my brain checked out with scans to confirm if my worries are true or not... I hope their not true as the brain function difficulties are affecting my gaming abilities as well. moms doing alright by the way.

    The 'Navezgane Slasher' joins the group as an archetype character that is made in a similar way to a player character. He carries 3 machetes on his right iron glove. 1 of the machetes is fixed in place as a regular model attachment, while the other 2 machetes are attached using a particle effect process (modelled on Snufkin's attachment process for the Bone Shank). This gives an animated effect when the Slasher moves his arm. His Buff is identical to the Parasite since their attack style is blood-letting.

    arramus first off i know i was quiet for a long time my life has gone to @%$# for the 80th time in 2021 but I remember a fictional creature created by Trevor Henderson called "big charlie" now obviously its gotta be a parody for copyright reasons but in one version of the story the giant cow chicken hybrid was aggressive with completly bullet proof skin with the only way to hurt it being running into it with a large vehicle or possibly even shooting it in the huge eyes hoping the bullet will penetrate and hit the brain. I had this idea for a parody of the monster for a long time as it would make an interesting boss fight now as I said we need a parody name for copyright reasons but Im sure yall can make up some decent names. let me know if you find this idea interesting and throw whatever questions u have at me.

    Cpt crunch if u have a link to something i can use to set predetermined biomes before generating the map in kinggen i'd like to check it out which reminds me I'm sure u know where all the biomes in your Texas map should be for real life accuracy and to be straightforward i think the texas map would be better suited for A20

ErrorNull I know most of the zombies are influenced by the vanilla zombies such as the custom business zombies but have you ever thought of modeling more original zombies such as zombie politicians or grocery store zombies? those are just two ideas im sure i'll come up with more but let me know what you think about the idea.

  13. The military vehicle in the last image has what looks like a turret slide for a big machine gun like an M60 or a Browning 50cal. Hopefully vehicle turrets can become a thing soon... running over zombies then blasting bigger ones with the mounted machine gun will be so awesome. I've also seen belt fed grenade launching machine guns in real life if certain military vehicles use those for a turret then it would be mega fun to destroy government buildings. If yall didn't see it in the stream the new district system for POIs has a district simply called "government" for u guessed it government and politician buildings, and I know everyone including me will make it one of our priorities to loot those buildings then destroy them.

    The futuristc looking Humvee like vehicle in the 5th image and all the other military vehicles look fantastic the mod gets more amazing with every update.

  15. corona aint got @%$# on me cause IM BACK along with some new vehicle requests that I know people will enjoy for the nostalgia. The two vehicles are the scorpion gunship and DRAGON ship from avatar, don't get @%$#ed yes avatar sucked but at least those two flying vehicles were cool.

    well for starters the errors occur regardless of what im doing i could be walking around a town either scavenging or doing a trader quest and the errors will show up. the errors are mostly related to some kind of spawning issue or map loading issue as they often slap in my face whenever they show up but those are the only two errors i encountered feel free to check it out and of course let us know what you find. despite the issues this mod and its addons are fantastic as they really improve the game in many ways. WOW u have 112 posts while i have 212 what a coincidence

  17. What sucks Errornull is when i tried the snufkin zombies addon to this mod i got nothing but various null errors every 2 seconds and it sucks because the addon featured some really cool zombie slaughtering quests. hopefully it'll get fixed soon.

    yo captian crunch i know it may take until deep into A20 for that super cool Texas map to be ready but my only complaint is swamps will be missing as the game needs more biomes.

    Yeah bit slow of late due to real life things happening with members of the Team holding a couple of things up ,  although now with us being so close to A20 we think its wise now to wait to see what breaks with A20 release.

    We dont want to  release and have it out of action after a short period .   At the moment going through a few playtests myself and making a few tweaks here and there.

     

    Will be probably 20 new vehicles in total and a few game play changes to Vehicle Madness inline with the great feedback received by the players over the last several months .

    good to know and appreiciate the compliment. also I was quiet again for days cause my corona made me throw up like crazy along with many other things but starting to finally recover.
