  1. The recipes could be changed to use blueberry or mixture of other crops/items. Then just add a new name, like fruit candy or yucca gin or whatever. I miss the snow berry too, but I do not see the point to bring it back because the original recipes relied on it.

  2. I got the game in Dosbox running, and I was able to record them in better quality. Here they are. I'm not sure witch one of them could be the right type of zombie but looking the Z in Ultima VIII might give some idea. Ragged clots, discolored skin with partially rotten body, and beautifull bright green eyes.

  3. Long time ago I played Ultima VIII, and one of my favorite sounds in the game was the zombies. I managed to dig it up, unfortunately the emulator did not play it back in good quality. They sound like beasts, and I especially did like the "shout" on the middle. Could be lovely to hear at night, when the player hiding silent with a stoneaxe on the attic. 😈

  4. Hello Robeloto,

     

    Your mod is one of the reasons I'm still interested to playing this game. Just perfectly bring the extra challenge what experienced players are looking for. Ther is a reason to not be ower confident when we enter a POI. Who know what is lurking there. I still could love some more deadly zeds beyond level 200-300 for end game content. Especially when somebody add weapon mods the chance is likely the game balance is shift towards less challenging.

     

    Just popped up in my head today you have electric zombies, and it could be interesting to bring them out for "recharging" in the storms. Maybe some aquazeds do not mind to join them either.

    Sorry. Get over it. Win 7 is end of life and not getting more updates. Your system is now a security risk. You really need to go to Win10 or Linux.

    The future without the updates on Win7 is full of doom and gloom now.
    Could you tell me which Windows with updates was known as secure in the past and present?
    How is that thing on windows 10 to uploading my private data to their server and sharing with third parties?
    Witch Linux disto you recommend to run my whole Steam library?

    I tried, and decided to stay far away from it. I managed the Win7 working on Ryzen, what was not a siple task. This is the most reliable desktop PC I ever had.

    That was same error I was getting except second one had LoadLibrary but that could just be a typo

    I think it only appears If you try to run it as administrator.

  8. I was playing on Nitrogen maps a lot but I wonder, is it generate any caves? I had seen none this far. I do not remember to find any on the normal RVG map either a while back. Are they still in game?

    Nitrogen flat areas is around 38 to 45 unless placed in mountains then it is has more room to play with as the mountain gives it extra height but the max height of the world is 255 so the higher up a poi the less above ground area it will have .

    In response:

     

    Passing through things

    - Correct, the flying zombies are actually attached to vultures and use their collision. It means they can get to a lot more places than they should be able to. Adding collision causes some severe issues for servers and this was the best workaround. It has its issues with passing through too many things sometimes but the modders make the best of the tools they have. 

     

    Too Common

    - There is a ‘lite’ version for the Plus mod which can replace the default one. New Worlds can be rough because the regions have not opened and density of zombies is very very high. Once regions have opened it becomes the opposite and they hardly appear. As such, there is a lite and regular version to choose from and you mention it is easy enough to regulate by yourself. Splendid. 

     

    Gheist

    - Supposed to be an ephemeral type being and the first sign is usually electric bolts flying near you or hitting you. I’m sure Snufkin will smile at your comment.

     

    Removing Zombies

    - Very possible to do simply by removing them from the entitygroups.xml spawn groups. You shared that you are familiar with editing this area. 

     

    Editing Zombies

    - It is always possible for server hosts to modify the Zombies health and XP settings as well. You are familiar with editing spawn rates and seem to understand the xml subtleties.

     

    Thank you for constructive feedback and all the best with customizing to your own specifications which is something you can see a lot from many server hosts that have posted in the threads. 

    I want to edit the Gheist and cut the ranged damage to the half. I wonder how to do it? Is it linked to the damage of landmines or something?

  11. Hello, First thing is, I love this mod and appreciate!

     

    I just want to give a small feedback on some of the issues I have:

    - Flying zombies manage to pass trough even on 2 blocks reinforced concrete. For example the Archon's legs just hang trough the roof while flying around.

    - This Zeds way to common compared to A18 version. I had to rebalance the spawnrate similar to Robelosto's Zombies.

    - Gheist: Hard to spot on the night sky and often the only way I notice it on Nomad difficulty is a blast, and death animation. Fun? No.

    - Shark: I love fantasy creatures but this one just really not fit in. I wish I could disable completely.

    - Drone and Siren: Lovely when they hanging around at night near our base in early game, and we have no guns to silence them, or way too busy at bloodmoon.

    - The PLUS zombies in general: They are often Waste of bullets, hard to kill and give low XP points, especially the Motorhead.

     

    Otherwise, I'm looking forward to your further additions. 🙂

    Thank you, I generated bigger 14K maps. Actually the desert is my fault because I was not used the sliders correctly.

     

    After lot of maps something came up in my mind. Basically where the desert and burnt forest generate the land is mostly flat, but could be interesting if not. It could be done if terrain have a group of sliders and biome ratio have another separate group of sliders. Then I can generate a completely mountainous: desserts, burnt forests, wastelands.

    I just love the rough terrain, It give a real purpose for vehicles and to be spawn and start away from settlements just add to the fun. Also worth to mention the view is often beautiful.

    I love this map generator and a played on this maps a lot, but I have few issues. Higher than 10K maps not generate burnt forests or desert for me and I would love to have more wasteland other than in the craters. You can see the setting for the map on the image.
