  1. This was a prior version, it isn't available in A19.
  2. Do a search for "lockable" in the crafting window and you will find a pill case or pill box (I forget exact name). This will also show you the full listing of expanded storage containers that can be made - at least this is what I do to find them.
  3. There is no smelting in this version of Darkness Falls. You just scrap the trophies, etc. into the brass into your inventory, or use a workbench to keep your own scrap queue empty for longer scrapping times. I typically do that with a stack of 5 radiators or a lot of trophies. As far as I'm aware, there is no way to avoid the 25% loss of scrapping versus vanilla smelting.
  4. For almost all of the "Perk books", there is also a skill or level-based prerequisite that also needs to be met. If you click or hover over the perk (I forget which), it will likely show it in red, but also show what the other requirements are in order to be able to use the unlocked perk. Most of the additional prerequisites need a certain level of crafting skills, such as gun crafting 1, science crafting 3, or weapon crafting 2, etc. For the Reloading Weekly perk, I do recall that it needs gun crafting skill of a certain level depending on the book/ammo type.
  5. How about the rigging mod for chest armor slot, or the other 3 pocket mods for the 3 clothing slots?
  6. Not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but when trying to use a bandage to heal a fellow player (right-click when near them), I see the bandage animation on myself, and I see their health bar go up. The other player doesn't see any healing from his end, and as soon as I move away from them, I see their health bar go back down to the pre-bandaged level. I haven't tested this in vanilla to see if it works there, but I'm posting it here because I know healing others wasn't working in 3.2A, and was supposedly fixed for 3.3. Let me know if you want me to test any other scenarios.
  7. Make sure you are comparing with similar arrows. I used to think this was bugged a long while ago, too, and got so frustrated! Then I realized I was comparing iron vs stone arrows in different bows. The arrow equipped in the bow/crossbow impacts the displayed stats.
  8. I'm using the Mod Launcher, and can't seem to figure out how to get it to download the V3.3. I clicked on the Delete Complete button to wipe out everything I had to remove the old mods/copy of 7days from Steam, then selected to copy from local copy (which is in a different steam folder). It copies over, then I click to Pre-Sync Mod, but it only shows Current Mod Version as 3.2A. How do I refresh the Mod Launcher to show the new version 3.3 as available?
  9. Saw 19.3 stable is out. I'm looking forward to seeing how DF 3.3 is once it is released. I'm assuming "soon"?
  10. Wow, thank you all for the texture streaming information! I'm going to revert back to my R9 380. The funny thing is this was supposed to be a 6gb 1060 from my friend. He had 2 of them spare, the 3gb and 6gb versions. He sold the 3gb one to someone over a month ago but unknowingly gave them the 6gb one, whoops! He thought he was giving me the 6gb version until I installed it into my system and saw it only had 3gb. Sorta funny
  11. I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I just swapped out video cards, AMD R9 380 4gb for a GTX 1060 3GB. After that, I noticed some of the textures in darkness falls were blurry. The writable wooden crates, and wooden and metal doors specifically. I previously played on medium, and with high settings it almost looked worse with the "better" 1060 graphics card. I then did a reboot, fired the game back up in normal 7 days without the mods, changed to ultra settings under video, and things looked great! So, I closed out of the game, then opened DF mod via mod launcher like I usually do. Checked on settings -> video, and things were still at Ultra. I loaded into game, and see the same odd poor-quality textures in some instances. I'll include screenshots. Is this an issue where the 3gb graphics card can't hold enough different textures in memory in DF because there are more total textures than normal game? Anyone have thoughts?
  12. A titanium claw hammer or laser multi-tool should do the trick.
  13. I've found that the untreated broken/sprained icon/time is not relevant to having the bone splinted or casted. Once you splint or cast the recovery time is always the same, 10 or 20 minutes from what I recall and doesn't increase any further. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but this is what I have observed. I do agree that this does seem like a concern as returning from a T5 mission, one of our players had over 700 hours of broken bone in the timer. Soon as she put on a cast, it went down to "normal" recovery time or 10 or 20 minutes - I forget exactly. I've only ever seen hazmat fiber from scrapping hazmat suit parts. I discovered yesterday that the Master Scientist can make the anti-rad pills in the chemistry station. I've never tested the pills, but plan to do so later this week. Previously, I would just scrap all of the hazmat pieces until I could make the ready suit mods. Hopefully the anti-rad pill will allow a bit earlier venturing into the wasteland. I lost my minibike there yesterday after dying
  14. A few questions: 1) I've tried using first aid bandages to heal other players in the world and it doesn't seem to work. Are there any bandage/heal/kits that I should be able to use on other players? 2) I tried curing animal poison on my character, and the help icon for the animal poison said that a paramedics kit would cure it, but it didn't. Is the antivenom the only item that can remove animal poison? 3) With the pending release of A19.3 stable, will those of us on A19.2 and DF v3.2A need to restart their world? Just planning for the near future.
