  2. Hmm... this is where my technical knowledge is limited. I don't know what I'm looking at. Do you know how to "code" in xml to make the gamestage show? If you do, I can put it in and give you credit for it!
  3. I would love to help you with this. I believe your Russian to English, English to Russian is better than mine though. For Example. When I see "Железные прутья" I believe that is "Iron Bars" however on google translate it is "Iron Twigs" And I don't know the difference between "Железные слитки" and "Железные прутья." I can go through and put "google translate" from English to Russian for the different blocks and maybe let you edit them? Or can I give you a file in which you can easily input the Russian counterpart for me?
  4. Which Language do you use for your game? Hmmm. This is an interesting topic. First, I didn't realize the lighting difference until you pointed it out. Second, the ability to change the lighting is currently a bit "bugged" or not available on the xml level? I will have to look more into this one in case it is possible... I understand that picking up the lanterns changes the progression of lighting availability around the base. It was just really confusing that you couldn't just grab resources from other houses and bring it back to your base. I will have to think more on the progression aspect of this. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
  5. Hmm. I haven't considered it. But if you click on Grinch843's post on Kaine's A19 Modlets. uYou will find on that says "HP Bars". Click on that and you will download a mod for that. If you cannot get it to work, I could look into making that an optional feature.
  6. Hmmmmm.... You are right about the stealth bar! I will have to play with that one for a bit. For the two separate temperatures, can you explain why you would want it displayed? It will be easier for me to "do my thang" if I understand the reasoning behind it. But regardless, yes. I can work on either implementing those two temperatures or create an optional download that will have it. But your insight will be helpful. 🙂

  8. I looked at War3zuk's AIO. I don't see anything that is "obvious" in conflicting with my mod. But based on your picture, it looks like you have KhaineGB's Food/Water Bars mod, or his Backpack mod that comes with a food/water bars. KhaineGB does have backpack mods WITHOUT the food/water bars. Does this apply to your situation?
  9. I see. It is that mod that is doing it. That isn't my layout for the Left HUD or the toolbelt. hmmm... perhaps I can create a workaround? let me see what I can do.

  12. Version 1.02 is here with arrow/bolt conversions, decorative door block, feathers made from plastics, advanced archery ammo require feather instead of plastic, and a few house blocks that i missed (door trims!). Let me know what you think and remember, it is to keep close to vanilla!

  14. Well, it is an easy line of code. But I'm not sure the big picture function of having this feature. Yes, when placing sandbags down, it would be significantly easier to correct mistakes. Picking them up when finding them in the world is a thing too, but I guess I don't understand the game mechanic reasoning behind it? Specifically, if it were a PVP situation, you can just run up and snatched their sand bags? lol?
  15. I used Notepad++ and view the files as xml. <--usually opens up automatically. The language can be complicated if starting from scratch like I did! The config files are in the 7days to die folder.

  17. WHOA! Hmmm... I haven't been able to get it to work for me! 😛 I'll keep messing with it. What did you change exactly to make it work? When I place it down, it is turned off. -Not having much luck. I even tried making a separate block in which there is a "player" flashlight block and still it is placed turned off. In the prefab editor i believe it is placed turned on, but not in the game world?
  18. Thanks for the feedback! To clarify, that is how it was intended, to be picked up as another flashlight. Placing it down as a light source is currently not possible through xml.... even though I'm keeping my eye on that too! So for now, I just stuck with getting a flashlight, and being able to stack flashlights like torches. I have considered this. I will look more into it, but I was under the impression that one bolt is NOT equal to one arrow. But yes, that would be amazingly convenient to be able to do!....UPDATE: it's happening. The difference is ONLY between exploding arrow to exploding bolt... Exploding bolt takes 2 additional gun powder. So that will be part of the conversion ingredients. I would consider this more of a "cheat" mod. Which can be done, I just tend to prefer close to vanilla. The values you would change under blocks.xml for the spikes are these: <property name="Damage" value="33"/> <-damage to entities/players/zombies <property name="Damage_received" value="33"/> <-damage the block receives when walked into.

  20. FOR THOSE WANTING THINGS TO BE SMALLER, don't forget you can shrink the HUD display down to 80% in the video options under UI. At least for a quick fix for now.
  21. Working on it! 😛 hmm..... i did not look in that direction yet.... Thanks for the tip! I believe what I'm going to end up doing is providing Option A, B, C, etc.... Like "large" "minimal" and then options that fit things like the 10-toolbelt mod, and deep pockets, etc... and hopefully with a few more items if I can figure it out! Still working on a LOT of things at once... lol! The life of a modder. 🙂
  22. They definitely do. And I do see a lot of requests of minimizing it some more. Last time, I had them toooooo small and people asked to enlarge them. I guess it is time to find that middle ground! Thanks for the feedback.
  23. I want it too! I haven't "cracked" that one yet. I also want trader restock day, open inventory slots remaining, and an optional mining tracker. lol! Still working on these. I totally did not see this post! SORRY! I never tried this on A18 as I made it for A19. As far as doing something wrong, the HUD was very tricky to modify. Some information has to be "open" in a part of the screen we do not see, in order to get the numbers to track correctly. Sorry, I don't have a straight answer. Consider switching to A19? I just saw this! Thanks! I totally forgot about Discord being up in that corner! Crap, you are right. It is much better where you put them. I will make that an official change for 1.05. and hahaha, I like that you added "WATCH YOUR BACK!" I see how you changed it. I'm going to attempt to find a way to do it that works with all screen resolutions, just in case. Different modes will move those blocks around.
  24. OK! "takes time?" Apparently not too much! Janky Seating Lol! <--this adds a 2nd seat to Gyrocopter, Motorbike, and Bicycle. I CAN NOT TEST IT at this time, so let me know if it works "well enough". Lol! Oh yhea, I also started with messing with the config files directly. THEN I learned how to transfer it over to xpath. It's a logical learning step.
  25. Boom. Riles-A19Cheats-NoScrapTimes1.00 I took this from crazy A18 mod testing I was doing in my beginning learning phase. Let me know if it works AND...... it is recommended that you DO NOT scrap brass items as when you smelt them, you get EVEN MORE brass out of them. 😉 But I understand the need to save on space.
