Basically when you buy a game, you agree to an End-User License Agreement, or to Terms of Service in case of online games on official servers. Those pages of legal mumbo-jumbo tell you your rights and your obligations. No more, no less.

Yeah, what's up with these big tech companies that don't respond to the whims of their customers? Like, Nintendo haven't provided any updates for Super Mario Bros. for my SNES since 1985! I paid for the game, didn't I ?! Meanwhile they're making stuff like Super Mario 3D for new gen consoles and PC instead of outsourcing the Super Mario Bros. SNES development to someone who cares!!!11!1oneone!!11!eleven And you can still go out there and buy Super Mario Bros. for 10 times the price it used to be, how is this fair !? Boycott!!!!

I've encoutered this, but it's not just marble blocks, there's also ghost terrain involved. Sometimes I just go dig a hole for a quest and once I leave it, it looks like there's no hole and suddenly I'm 5 meters deep with a full motorcycle. Usually restarting makes it go away.
