    They do work on walking sleepers for example wich might be a step towards this.

    They were the best. That's where you had to go if you wanted the good loot, but you always had to be prepared, since you couldn't just clear them out. Miss them.

    What are the plans for radiated zombies, then? I believe at some point you guys said you hated how they looked and were planning on replacing them with tougher/special enemies.

     

    Also, whatever happened to the "gasser" zombie? Or is he not in the "special enemy" category?

    It's planned that in a future update, there will be bandits and a final boss called The Duke of Navezgane. The player will have to do a bunch of quests and eventually will be sent to meet the Duke. How the final battle will go and what will happen after is unknown for now.

    The real problem is, IMO, that implementing such elaborate moves with at least two actors involved would be a huge time sink for the devs.

    They did talk about special finishing moves in their kickstarter trailer, IIRC.

    I wouldn't expect A20 at least till late summer.

    Yeah, I relate to this a lot. My buddy and I almost got destroyed once, because he opened a safe while a wondering horde was passing by at night. The zombies tracked us all the way upstairs. Doesn't seem like those things happen often anymore, sadly.

    The wound system is one of the best latest additions. If you get hit by zombies, you get wounded. That's not punishing the player for just playing the game, that's just zombies dangerous. Stay away from zombies.

     

    And if you ask me, I'd like zombies to be even more dangerous.

    The worst part about what you've written here is that some of the points you make about gameplay are valid, and could be discussed further, but yet, it all goes to waste because of the stupid personal attacks and overall absurd way you've phrased them. Shame.

    I mean, I think it's perfectly reasonable that someone would quit if the devs take away what made the game fun for them, don't you think?

    Kinda pointless considering bandits won't be implemented in A20.

Ark does an excellent job at letting you make a truly abominable characters, though I understand if body shapes like that aren’t possible for the sake of making armor not clip.

     

    This is probably one of the reasons why they want to completely move on from the UMA system.
