    Great mod. Wonderful textures. Very detailed.

     

    If you find time in the future, could you also do a darker version please. I'm using the old dark version which causes slight stalling, hardly much to talk about. However I'd rather prefer the stalling, than install the new more efficient bright ones. Just a personal preference.

     

    Thanks to you and all those who helped bring this to release.

     

    daker version is coming back for sure, im just taking a little break from it. tomorrow maybe.

    MASSIVE Improvement Mumpfy, thank you very much.

     

    As stated previously, I was getting 5-10s of lag when first encountering a zombie (often leading to 7d2d crashing). I've been playing with this new pack for about an hour and no issues whatsoever.

     

    Thanks again for the great work.

     

    P.S. The brighter texture pack looks great to me.

    still im corious about how it will work on horde nights.... fingers crossed.

Link uploaded just now, its the brighter texture pack, zeds look just like before, the only change is how the file is done in order to improve performance and avoid the lag reported when spawning or encountering them. i sitll havent made the darker version pack, idk if someone prefers that one or everyone who is using this just uses brighter pack.

     

    if someone tests this new pack please let me know if there was improvement. thanks.

  4. You can count me in on that too. Finally got a chance to give these a look and they are fantastic but indeed on the first spawn my screen locked up for a few seconds, probably 5 or more.

     

    Never had any freezes with UMA once i did the texture trick so Im assuming its probably the initial load up of the asset file. Also I have a potato, like the king of potatoes lol. But considering I modded RH on it including the custom zeds I made with no freezes like that I just wanted to mention it just in case other do report it.

     

    Running my game with no reflections, half texture quality and lowest UMA.

     

     

    im not sure how many uma zombies you tested before this are quite a bunch, about 60 some... may be a way to take down the file size if that helps ill try it. also this new way of making them i think has not been tested much so is good to check all this feedback. i could also break the pack in 2 parts since there is 2 options of each zed. thanks. we'll look into it.

    are you using it in a server? i have no idea about this, i just read that loaded the mod, so no clue. i think guppy tried it in a server and worked. you wont get any help from me on this i just have no clue at all, hopfully someone else here can see whats wrong. also did you tried it in a regular game? not a server?

  5. yes, just to be clear, there is no more pc or mac separated mod. now the same stuff goes for both (linux should too) the only difference between the 2 download links is the option of brigther or darker textures for the Z's

  6. its a modlet, you just drop it in the mod folder, but you cant use both, you have to use one or the other, i said that somewhere. sry.

    ok i did a new set of textures that are more bright than the other ones, we are currently testing it to see if all works fine and will be uploaded next to the other link once we are ok. so you basically choose to use one or the other set, same stuff just brightness adjusted for the people that was having issues with that.

  8. Great work on this, and thanks for releasing it, they all look excellent. The light levels look right to me, roughly the same as the vanilla textures.

     

    I had a question hopefully someone may be able to help me with, when I use this modlet the first zombie(s) I encounter, my screen locks up for 10-15 seconds and sometimes crashes out of 7d2d with a d3d11 error. If it doesn't crash, everything appears to work properly for future zeds with no lag, and they all look fantastic.

     

    I've never had this happen before, and it doesn't happen if I remove the modlet.

     

    i have a small lag when i spawn them from the menu by hand, on the first one only, and its just a cople of seconds. not if i ran into them in game, and so far has not crashed ever. i though it was my potato computer. idk if someone else had that issue also.

  9. I think khelldon did a fix for the uma zombies being too dark.... maybe it's a related issue?

     

    we talked about it, khelldon fix and changing the textures is almost the same amount of work. we are making new tests but seems to be divided opinions on if it is or not too dark... so im waiting to see what to do.

  10. OK link updated, has xml errors found fixed (should).

     

    about the darkness of the Z's i would love some feedback about this, looks like we have differences they way they look for some people, we are trying some new posibilities, but would be nice to have more poeple's opinion about it to figure out if that needs fixing or not... and how much.

  11. OK... so all bugs reported so far fixed (again thanks to GUPPYCUR for the xml work)

     

    i just spawned them all 1 by 1 and had no issues... should work fine now also on horde night.

    We now did a differnt export so the same file is gonna work fine for both PC and MAC. (should) but please let me know if there is any other issue guys and thanks again for the feedback. posting new link in a few minutes.

  12. all i used to do this is uabe extracted... its all there. and the files i have them modified so. it just takes a few minutes to extract this stuff and no knowlage needed, whoever wants to try this can do it, no need for me to pack it up.

  13. i think its the same issue... the object null error is because i had some materials names wrong... so that happens when you try to spawn them.

    on horde night they are trying to get spawned by default so all those red errors is probably the same ones multiplied.

    is not really a big bug. should get fixed.

    and yes, khelldon is correct. i was originaly going to release this as replacements for the original Z's so the work gupp did with the xmls alowed us to have now about +60 new z's going around, so it was quite some work. i know he is checking it and probably solving the spawn issue at least, not sure about the harvesting stuff for the animals.
