I have the same issue. My specs are the same as @Lime. I tried lowest quality and it's horrible, unplayable. I have played over 400 hours in this game when it was A16, even with mods installed. The quality back then wasn't great, but at least it was playable in SP and MP. Wanted to play it again, but I can't even start walking or look around without it being terribly slow in movement.. Hope devs will fix this eventually, hopefully soon because I really wanna play 7d2d again.

Hi! Just a quick question here, I'd like to change the stacksizes of the twigs, the resin, the planks, plantfibers, coal and smallstone. Unfortunately I am unable to find them in the item xml file. Am I using the wrong name to search them there, or are they in another xml file? Love the mod but further ingame it's pretty annoying to only be able to stack 1000 planks or small stones. edit: I found rockSmall

I know right! It would be awesome if the storage box with 49 slots could be expand to 120 or so I feel like it's kinda out of balance. The simple wooden chest has the same size, but looks way smaller. Love the mod anyway, it's so cool! Especially the UI is so lovely.
