    Nitrogen is written in Java. Its integration into 7D2D is nonexistant. If they don't have someone fluent in Java and willing to dabble in that code base they would need to hire the nitrogen modder (if he is available at all) or preferably translate the sources to c# first (since that would mean easier integration and easier maintenance long term). This could have actually been an option they were thinking about but seemed to have decided against it. But who knows, maybe they are in talks with Damocles, he is awfully silent at the moment 😉

     

    Compopack is the work of dozens of modders. To get the rights for the POIs they would need to contact and reach agreements with everyone who designed a POI they want to integrate. 90% of POIs in Compopack are not designed and balanced correctly for vanilla and would need further work to integrate them. So why rob the community of the compopack if you can just leave the POI designers adding 70 POIs per year AND have compopack as another options for players after they have seen everyone of the probably 700 POIs eventually in the game?

     

    I just checked her out (for science) and to me it looks like her dress is jiggling, not her boobs.

    Having used combo pack, the POI are no where near the Fun Pumps quality esp the new POI, some are just not complete, missing textures incomplete spawners, or broken buildings, or are getting 10 copies of the same building in a town.

     

    I love that they are there and we can use them but each would have to be taken on its merits and give a good going over to make sure its good enough and fits the theme and it is not a buggy mess to be used in the full game. 

     

    Some of them for me have spawned half into the ground or did not have any zombie spawners in them.

    Yup that ladders issue has been a problem for years and I am so glad its been fixed now, I am loving all the bug fixes and improvements in each patch.

    On  my video I got a comment asking the following and I was wondering if you could help.

     

    I created a NitroGen map a week ago. Looks great with the new Alpha19 but the Trader POI's have not spawned in. Any advice? My version is v0474. Cheers
     
    I suspect old vs new Alpha clashing.

    BTW: The newest experimental has the newer CompoPack list included.

    But its best to always use the prefabslist included in CompoPack itself, to have the most up to date version of it.

  5. That would be awesome if you could get it right.

     

    With all the new commercial POI coming in A19, I am sure there will be some Juicy stuff to use.

     

    Did you have any lucky with stopping the same POI spawning in the same town, I have 6 TV towers in my one city.

    With regards to roads and the city grid, do you know when that is going to full completed?

     

    Would it be possible to generate roads with sidewalks, street signs, street lamps, speed bumps, traffic circles ect.

  7. I really love the Nitrogen the road, the terrain is awesome but I have some problem the way building are use multiple time in the same town, I can have 3 huge church in the same city...

     

    In a map I just generated (using compopack) there is the pastebin and 3 example of building near each other;

    Is there a way to control how many ''shopping center'' will spawn in the entire map or per town/city...? (doesnt make sense to have 12-15 of them on a 8k map)

     

     

    I am having a similar issue, I end up with citys with 6 TV tower restaurants or two art galleries right next to each other.
