    Most servers will state it is running the cp also.  On the cp discord we also have a server advertisement channel where servers will post there as well


    Hey Stalion.  With A20 — If I start a peer to peer multiplayer game as the host, do the peers need to install the compopack, either to get prefabs or the low poly dIstant versions?

    No disrespect to the pimps but alot of the mods bring elements to this game that alot of players enjoyed that for some reason TFP decided to remove like LBD, more zombies in cities, massive roaming hordes and actual survival elements.


    DLC may not be just something new that we see.  It may introduce new framework programming in the background that modders can hook up to and expand upon, but perhaps wouldnt need to exist without the DLC

    They release these for the sole purpose of allowing  @Roland to say “A21 isnt taking that long,  because look they have been releasing major updates for A20”.  Now, if they were really smart 1 year from now release another tiny A20.x update,  so then when A21 arrives Roland can say, “look A21 only took a few months!”

    If you look on steam for UEBS 2, a game not out yet, one of the videos tells us that they perform AI for pathfinding for over 1 million individual on screen soldiers using the video card and would have been impossible using the CPU.  I know its comparing apples to oranges but I was wondering if this was already being done or if something like this would help in 7 days to die?

    Hello my Stallion.  Just curious of the work that needs to be done for this next release, it seems like a TON!!
     

    Resizing all POIs to fit standard tile sizes?

     

    Block conversion?

     

    Add power quest to POIs?

     

    Something to do with RWG placement like tags or something?

     

    Anything else??

    Please share if you can mod it.  Im already thinking one quest per week instead of 1 per day.  It would be nice for the trader to enforce it so i dont have to keep track of it.  
     

    This would promote random exploration to get materials and levels and dukes… instead of just cranking out X quests per day like a robot and swimming in dukes and skill points.  
     

    Ideally it can be a menu option provided by @faatal down the road!

    It’s not a new idea. Plenty of RPGs have limits to the number of jobs an NPC will give during a period of time. “Come back and I might have more jobs later” is something I know I’ve read in other games. 

     

    Have you brought this up with the TFP crew?  I think its great idea... Even diminishing returns per day or some such.
