    I'm also a man of faith, so I have faith you will eventually release the official version for A20 that'd be the real deal, thanks.

    It will matter with Gold / final versus last non-final, though. ;)

    if you had the experimental a20b238, you already have the stable version.

     

    i just tested on my wifes computer and she now has the a20b238 version.

    No way, I'm staying on Experimental and when 7 Days to Die goes Gold, I will switch to whichever last non-final version that will be available at that time!

  5. Some things may be hardcoded in the game code, so you may be unable to set them the way you want through xml, keep that in mind. Not sure if that's the case here, but if it is, it may be impossible to achieve what you want here. I'm a bit skeptical about this TakeDelay thing, that probably only sets how long it will take to pick it up, but not the ability to be picked up in the first place (again that might be hardcoded depending on what kind of item it actually is).

     

    If you still want to try, you can go ahead and test it, but instead of setting the attribute (which isn't there in the first place, so this would result in error), you will need to insert it inside of its node as a new property. Also, I would probably try cntStorageGeneric first, because Insecure version is the one that's half destroyed.

    Is this a new thing? It's been a while, but I think I haven't come across this in previous versions. Either way, this interests me. Apparently this allows you to block combinations with different items reversely, so in this particular case, instead of doing this for every revolver individually, you can simply block them all using one tag in one place. Nice, this piece of information might be useful for modders. Although, it would be even better if we could target just one tag and leave the rest untouched instead of hardcoding other tags the way they are in vanilla, because obviously there may be some tags added by other mods and this would break them.

    Mutants and power armor are still there. I have reworked how the stands work, as power armor is now mods that can be installed in power armor frame pieces. Each armor skin has it's own stand now so you know what pieces you will get. Also made one legendary set but haven't done much with it yet. 

     

    And I'll be reworking my raiders and npcs to work with Sphereii's and Xyth's core mod. Should be starting that this week hopefully. 

     

    What do you mean by them still being there? Have I missed their implementation? 😱

  8. Hi bdubyah! I must say I'm surprised by your decision to introduce your custom skill set. That's a lot of work and it probably means that the wasteland mod is slowly turning into a standalone overhaul rather than mod that could be thrown into a mix of other mods. On one hand I love the idea of pushing the boundaries and getting it closer to Fallout with the new skills, on the other hand it might be getting less compatible with some of my other favorite mods, this is honestly tearing me apart, because I love your Wasteland mod and definitely want to play it, so I guess I'm one of those who will have mixed feelings about this change, but I don't know maybe it will be fine in the end. Perhaps I could try to create patches to bridge my other favorite mods with your mod, I will see. Just tell me we are getting supermutants and power armor, that will make it easier to live with big changes. :)

    Hmm, I think you can't please everyone, but I do think it makes sense to have both and I believe that you feel the same way about this. You are a talented modder and if you ask me, I would rather risk a few confused people, but have a good mod in the end. You know your reasons why you want both, so make it what it should be. :)

    Yeah, I thought finding a worm in a sink is a bit strange, but not impossible, but when I found another one in a car and another one in a lamp, I suspected something isn't right there, but hey maybe that's how you wanted it to be, so I didn't report that. 😂

    Wait, so there are no skill points in this now, so you have to rely solely on leveling things up by doing them? You know, the original was a mix of both, action points and skill points and it made sense and gave me more freedom where I want to put the points versus what's not so worth it, so the less favorite actions were the ones I usually just "learned by doing" instead of investing skill points into them. If there are no skill points here or you simply cannot spend them, then I guess I'd have to pass. :(

NPC Followers... that's what I like to see in the roadmap, but I wonder will this feature depend on updated Sphereii's and Xyth's NPC mod they are currently working on, or do you have your own solution? Either way it's something I'm really looking forward to, because let's be honest - this game needed actual NPCs with brain yesteryear...

    Hmm, well it seems to love to "go into the water" if you know what I mean, even if I put it on the ground, somehow it always tries to "sail" to the water and once in the water, it sails away on its own, it's like if it was possessed or something lol

     

    EDIT:

    I did try to level it up in the water, but I was worried to leave it alone there due to what it did when I left it on the ground, so do you think it's actually safer to leave it in the water?

     

    I loved your green boat in A19, I used to drive it around town when I couldn't get anything to move around lol and I remember it was more or less stable on the ground, but in some situations, I found it several meters away in weird positions when I came back to it after some time not seeing it.

    Although, I have my theory, I guess that question can be answered only by developers of this game.

     

    If I was to guess, I would say that assets can reach gigabytes of extra data, depending on how much modded the game is. All the clients would have to download them from the server, which would cost you in server bandwidth, potentially making the server unstable if it's not really designed for such traffic. Also, it's not really practical as the clients would have to start the game only to wait for the huge amount of data to download, so there's a chance they wouldn't even get to play it that day (some people may not have that fast internet connection), not to mention that game itself wouldn't be the best "download manager", so I think it's better if the clients download it all in advance from somewhere and then start the game once the data is ready. I mean, technically it's probably possible, but it would most likely require a lot of extra work that's probably not worth the time and effort.

    By the way, are you planning to add a custom navicon for the Raft? It's missing at the moment. I added 4x4 icon to it in my singleplayer game to see the raft in the world. Not that I would like to leave it alone for too long, because it tends to move on it's own into the water lol, but still. For the small periods of time when I leave it on the shore, I like to see where I placed it. :)

  16. Happy End Ragsy! Sphereii managed to fix the problem in the Core, so that we no longer have the issue with the vehicles as they could not be picked up nor their inventory accessed! I wanted to thank you for your patience with me, for your time and effort and I'm sorry for the false alarm as I thought this was related to your mod. ❤️
