Its pretty amazing. It adds great features that feel like they belong, including a lot of great quality of life. The XUI is top-notch and should be reason for TFP to pause for reflection. (be a hero a post xui standalone) Progression is slower but meaningful, and while some may complain its grindy, I found it lends to a greater sense of achievement that makes playing to day 50, 75, 100+ much more viable. The base game is boring by day 35 basically every time after the first. Multiplayer becomes the only way to redeem it. This was not the case with UL.

It really is. A21 has good additions and changes, but it just doesn't do it for me. Going from Undead Legacy back to vanilla is like going from a release quality product back to an old beta or test branch.

Install 7 days dedicated server from Steam. Drop mod into directory just like you would for game. Configure serverconfig.xml. Launch startserver.sh. Worked that easily launching from terminal on linux.

Hey all. Playing UL on linux and finding that I have to launch the bepinex script manually and cannot do it through steam. I read the instructions for bepinex again and have used it before with Valheim, but for some reason it is not allowed from launch options. I added ./run_bepinex.sh %command% and it just starts and immediately stops the game. Yet if I just launch the script in terminal or even double click, game starts without issue. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? side note: normally I just run 7d2d in proton because it performs better, but those same settings that usually give me 80-100fps in 1440p give me about 5-10 fps in UL. Not sure what is up with that. ps, this mod is awesome. its like fleshed out 7d2d with launch quality polish. Amazeballs.
