No, this was intentional. TFP have deleted them from the vanilla game, but Khane gave them another life in the DF

How comes the blank skill notes are rare? You get 3 of them every time you scrap any book or schematics, if you play with friends you should get enough really fast. And is it 120 blank skill notes you need on the writing station you need to craft a class book? I feel like it is less than that. And how comes you've got only five tires in 55 lvl? If you dismantle cars you should get them more consistently. It seems like a bug, haven't encountered that. Well, you can just fix him, that's minor problem. Lead is in snow biome because there is no burned one now.

I believe it's AK - AR - M4 - M60, because M4 is opened with a security mastery, but a machinegun always was an ultimate automatic weapon. And yes, they are all automatic weapons. I hope someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Not sure about your first question, but considering the second one I belive it's because you can't craft it even though you've read the recipe. You can't craf it because you haven't met the requirements of course, but it's still complicating things, because you don't know which books you can scrap and which ones you should read. I have the same problem. 😃

Completing the quests of the class quest chain give you a few (3, I think) skill points that are automatically open random skill in this class. I advice you to complete class quest chains before using your free skill points to open class skills. The quests are pretty easy and don't take a lot of time usually

Were you launching from shortcut? Check your vanilla 7 Days for errors through Steam, then delete modded folder and make another copy of vanilla 7 Days and install DF files into it. And of course no EAC.

Eh, I prefer launch it from the folder, launching from shortcut causes a massive red sheet of errors in the console. Everything fine if I launch it as I usually do though

Just copy 7 days files from steam folder into a different folder and copy mod files into it, you will have both vanilla and DF. Don't forget to launch DF from the modded 7 days folder

Well, it's probably the case when you play alone. I usually play in a party of 4, so we have stable income of bullets (and no one uses 9mm, lol) and brass, and there is nothing to do with brass usually.

What I do to evade all those nasty zombies - I mine a tunnel from my house to the wasteland (usually at 8-12 height) and mine with a pickaxe. And crouch. Always crouch, it's the first thing I've learnt in the DF.
