Darkrift25
Hello everyone, my fiance and I love the game and we just started again and never before did we experience these issues last time and it is almost making the game impossible to play. First when we go anywhere when it is snowing it is so blinding we can not see anything at all. I play on a nice 55 inch TV and it doesn't seem to be fixed in any setting in the Xbox or tv. Same goes if there is any fog. This never use to be an issue for us. Also in some parts the snow will fall, melt, fall, melt and keep going like that every second in some spots. Does anyone know how to (if not fix) make it better?
UnsentSoul
You can enable distant terrain, that will help with fog and distance you can see, however it doesn’t work on split screen. My wife and I faced the same issues, at times it was like walking into a white screen. Moral of the story, don’t build in snow areas unless you enjoy lag (when it snows) and blinding weather... skullpoker
Try quitting to the game's main menu and reloading. If that doesn't work you could try exiting the game entirely and restarting. This has been known to reset the current weather.
Damselx1
There is an issue with weather getting stuck on long play sessions - if you quit the game, shut down for 5 minutes to clear cache, then load it up again, the weather should reset to sunny. Kreepymidget
You can also try adjusting the gamma settings on the game main menu. Ot of had to do that with summer patch 1 last year.
