tozqo Posted March 1, 2018 Share Posted March 1, 2018 I have a friend who really likes doing the cool new thing, so they are always looking for new games and mods. I prefer finding something comfortable and keeping it until it has been worn out and has to be replaced. The problem here is he keeps finding cool looking mods for my dedicated server, but I don't want to lose any progress. I would like to try the mods, but if they don't fit what happens when I uninstall them? A specific example is the Valmod overhaul pack, primary concern is gunsmithing. The mod removes the recipes as the method to learn smithing skills and replaces them with perks. If I install this mod or any ovehaul mod and load them on an in progress game, does it reset skills or anything else, and then reset them again when removing if the mod doesn't work out?
