Jugginator Posted November 3, 2023 Share Posted November 3, 2023 Yeah that is the one; that's weird... this Failed to execute : 740 has shown to be an error launching a process due to lack of admin privileges. This doesn't make too much sense, since you don't need, or shouldn't need, to run game applications under Admin. Have you changed anything in your system settings recently? Do you have third-party antiviruses/firewalls installed? If the latter, try adding exceptions for the Appdata folder (%appdata%/7DaysToDie) in Roaming and the main game folder. Also, verify your game files twice and reboot your machine, and make sure you don't have any failed windows updates or any updates in queue (e.g. installed but needs reboot to apply and somehow it got stuck or something).
