Scout Quest Issue - Darkness Falls

So, I'm playing Darkness Falls (level 24) and have completed 4 quest from a White River Scout. Now, however, when I accept a quest, and go to the activation point, I get a message: "You cannot accept this quest at this time" I've canceled and retried the quest, logged out, gone to other scout, all with the same results. Does anyone  know what this means or why this is happening? BTW, I disabled any mods (other than DF) with same results.

PS...Really don't want to have to start a new game a get back to level 24 to test if the issue is recurring.
