I want a sci-fi total conversion so the world and buildings have a grungy futuristic 90's aesthetic like Screamers or Escape from LA. Lots of green screen CRT monitors everywhere and stuff like that. Make the zombies more nondescript so you can't recognize them individually, make them look like the Borg, and make their eyes glow blue. Add sci-fi weapons and vehicles. That would be awesome

Maybe you should give Undead Legacy a go, its now how you want now but it's certainly getting there with the vibe of your post :D https://ul.subquake.com/

What do I want ?

All the good stuff they have removed from the game. Apart from it being so buggy, I think this game peaked around A10-A13 it was hella fun to play and every game was different. Back then this still was a survival game. Not NPC vendor mission shopping game.  After that every update there is less and less to play. Completely random recipe access by loot only, which encouraged players to explore map and loot. Also 1-to-1 trade with risk of attack or cheating, not these boring vending machines.
Gone are gun parts to actually build the guns with challenge to find good quality parts. Like when you only had quality 1 barrel which made the gun accuracy bad, or poor quality trigger making gun less reliable.

etc etc.

On playing game that day 200 you still do not have concrete recipe as it random so you would need to use your brains to adapt and overcome that problem and play differently , not just that exactly smae linear game over and over like now. unlocking same recipes and skill is same order again and again and again.

There are 2 planned, but 846464837464847577 would be neat indeed.

If the storyline goes in before beta, it would be best for us, that way they don't waste a DLC putting in a "promised" feature in the first place (friendly npcs and story) and they could just improve upon it.

Time isn't really an issue once core systems are in, but a way to easily create factions and a faction relation system like that of FO: New Vegas would suffice IMO (meaning faction and quest mod support with easy interface).

if fallout was couch co op it would've sold more. such an amazing game limited to one player. what a waste.
