MP pause or server startup sync

Not a dedicated server, we just join a person's game. We generally play with 3 players. There is no way to pause the game while everyone joins. The first player (server) has to start the game, then the others have to join while the game is in progress. The joining players lose a chunk of the day while they join in. In addition you can't pause for a quick break for a RL issue. You have to exit, and then rejoin... every time... losing that chunk of time for the joining players.

Would love to see a MP pause option. Or at least a join to lobby then start game type of thing so the time of day doesn't advance until everyone is in.

As a workaround, game owner could use the settime command to roll back a few in-game minutes. F1 -> 'settime <day> <hour> <min>' e.g. 'settime 10 13 0' puts it on day 10 at 1PM. Be careful using this on a blood moon day, though - it can confuse the BMH counter and cause the game to skip the horde. Or it did in A19. You can use 'ggs' and 'sgs' to get or set the game setting for BMH day respectively.

That's not a work around. It just moves the day and night cycle. Things still happen. hunger and thirst progress, zeds move, things on benches build, crops grow, and most importantly game stage progresses. Moving the time doesn't really do anything. It may shift the current hours to give you daylight but then  the next night comes that much earlier.  In addition playing with time can have wonky affects on time trigger events. Once it got the trader stuck from resetting his quest offerings.
