petrus74
I get chunk load errors and my base gets reset. In my last session, as I was returning to my base I got debug menu pop up with red text and when I arrived, there was literally a half of one wall and nothing more... It was ALL gone. Base was freshly made, I just moved in and was transferring the last of my items from previous base when it happened. There was one forge running inside and that's all.The log contained this reference to the error:2021-12-05T21:00:00 5419.213 ERR EXCEPTION: In load chunk (chunkX=-79 chunkZ=22)2021-12-05T21:00:00 5419.214 EXC The output char buffer is too small to contain the decoded characters, encoding 'Unicode (UTF-8)' fallback 'System.Text.DecoderReplacementFallback'.Parameter name: charsArgumentException: The output char buffer is too small to contain the decoded characters, encoding 'Unicode (UTF-8)' fallback Full log here: https://pastebin.com/qdJP908ZI back up the savefile after every session so I can go back in case something goes wrong, but at this point I'm just discouraged. I also got a couple character resets on this map where I would lose all my progress - the game would load with my char at lvl 1 with skillpoints, books read and quests wiped clean. No clothing or armor but inventory intact. Those would happen at startup and go with another error, "ERR Loading player data failed for player '76561198070317549', rolling back: Attempted to read past the end of the stream."Had the same thing happen on another map that I abandoned and generated the current one. Adding a log from one such event. https://pastebin.com/MiQfjynF I'm playing on a MSI laptop with i7-8752H CPU, 16GB of RAM, GeForce 1050Ti. Windows 10 Home ver. 20H2. Map is 4K, generated using KingGen. Single player, modded with about 30 mods, nothing major, listed in the log. Video settings at medium and low to improve performance. Validated game files, found no problem. Game is added as exception to firewall. Easy Anti-cheat apparently active, don't know how to disable it.I have no clue what could cause that. Fleshus
I often had this same kind of problem in different saves, in one of the cases I was able to identify that it was because of a mod of the max stacks of dukes at 100k (the bug appears from 30k +) (but I would be surprised if it came from there for you, I see that you have a mod of stacks but of PhD an experienced modder). In the case of chunk load errors that I had, I suspected that this was a mod that reduced the crafting time too much and I had negative crafting time numbers (e.g. -0.001 sec for the glue in the chem station). Since I pay attention to that I have not had this kind of bugs anymore ...

Cannot be sure if I had over 30k dukes in inventory or a chest when problems occured, but after reading your comment I changed the mod back to 30k and tested it for the last couple days - so far no errors... Would that mean there is some hardcoded limit to stacking items?
