Anubis68 Posted July 12, 2020 Share Posted July 12, 2020 how do you update your dedicated server from alpha19v157 to v163 without loosing everything. i have been looking for some direction online and i cannot find how to update the server without loosing starting over. if anyone knows that would be greatly appreciated. Boidster Posted July 12, 2020 Share Posted July 12, 2020 You should start a new world with each experimental release. If you want a stable world, wait for a stable release. That said, if you back up serverconfig.xml, the /worlds folder and the /saves folder that might let you try to keep going in the same world.
