FiftyTifty Posted October 13, 2019 Share Posted October 13, 2019 By default, sleepers have a max view range of 3 meters, can only be awakened by being damaged and/or the player being within 3 meters of them, and will spawn in parts of the building as you progress through it. That's bollocks. I increased the size of the spawning triggers by 150 blocks, so all the sleepers within a house will spawn as you get near it, rather than spawning as you go through specific parts of the house. And since they are now awake and active, you can't just clear out one room, loot safely, then advance. You have to keep your wits about you, and actually clear out the building before you are safe to loot the building. Note: Since the sleepers now all spawn at once, the number of spawned zombies has been reduced. By default, they spawn in groups of 5 or 6, with a two story house having between 20-50 zombies spawning inside it. Without reducing the numbers, that means every moderately large house spawns a horde. I've reduced that, so now there is a much more reasonable number of zombies spawning in each house. There's still plenty enough to overwhelm you, but there's not an entire army lying in wait in every mini mcmansion.
