Can't start dedicated server

Check your config, Server config file option “ShowAllPlayersOnMap” has been renamed to “ShowFriendPlayerOnMap”. If this is not changed, it's not going to run. If it does run, and its not letting people connect still or anything, I'lll need some logs

The main issue, I've noticed whenever there is an update, is checking all the values of the serverconfig.xml are correct. If any of these values are off, the server will not start. If you have access to the file, make sure all comments are properly closed out and the values have been updated for A9. If you do not have access to this file, you will need to open a ticket with your game host provider, as they will need to make changes on their back end for the new update. The second issue I ran into this time around is Steam not updating the dedicated server files correctly. To address this issue, you will need to verify the files once again and have it complete the update process (found this also happened to me for the client files as well). There is a couple of my ideas for what its worth.

I deleted the serverconfig.xml and verified the steam cashe, but it still isn't working (although it did re-download the file). Is there somewhere I can manually download it or copy it from (copying the text of the file). UPDATE The error message given when I try to start the server is that 'telnet is not a recognized command or batch file', and comes after the 10 second pause.

Same Issue [ATTACH]4126[/ATTACH] I'm having the same issue, can't connect to server, neither can my friends. I've tried a fresh reinstall of the dedicated server, had steam verify the files and even added the "ShowFriendPlayerOnMap" into the config file as suggested earlier, nothing works. Thank you so much. I didn't know that the error was related to the admins.xml. One of my moderators has a space in his name, that I think was causing a problem. Taking that line out corrected the start-up issue. (I've had issues in the past trying to use the SteamID, so I've been using player names.) Thanks alot Alloc.
