My controller is an Xbox One controller Model 1697 I can confirm hitting M on the keyboard will not cause it to try to force open the On-screen keyboard, HOWEVER once you open the map with the controller, it WILL give you the "the game has to be started from Steam's big picture mode to use the on-screen keyboard" message when you press M on the keyboard to open the map If any other information is needed please let me know and I will do my best to get it asap for you

    Yeah I just went to load my game from the desktop like normal and steam forced the new update, I did nothing out of my ordinary launching of 7d2d

No EAC on or off? on Status: NEW Bug Description: Every time I open the map it forces open the waypoint search in steam big picture mode, or if you're not in steams big picture mode it gives you a red message that reads "the game has to be started from steam's big picture mode to use the on-screen keyboard Detailed steps to reproduce the bug: 1) open the map 2) open the map 3) open the map Actual result: what is occurring is the on-screen keyboard is being forced on in steam's big picture mode, and attempting to force itself on out of big picture mode, I have enclosed screen shots of both versions of the bug happening Expected result: My expected result of opening the map is to see the map not the keyboard, or a message about an on-screen keyboard.

    yeah it's weird, I turned off big picture mode and got the red warning you get, it's like the map is suddenly trying to force open the way point search

    Why on earth is my map suddenly opening like this? is that a feature or a bug? It's incredibly annoying to be dragged into way point search every time I open my map.

    Do you know if there's a way to just go back to showing the map instead of it auto going to the search? I run my steam in big picture mode so I can just type at random times so I don't get the red message you do, This is what happens when I open my map. If that's a bug I'm gonna be reporting it so it gets fixed

    Could someone tell me weather the map opening to waypoint search is a feature or a bug? It's incredibly annoying. It doesn't matter how I open the map. I use a controller so every time I open my map I end up having to hit B to close the way point search and see the actual map. If it happens to be something i can turn off, kindly direct me to how I friggin do that
