you see! you said it all!.. everyone plays the way they like and on the difficulty they wish.. and when you go hunting you dont do it in your own backyard and hope some deer/chicken/rabbit comes through.. the point of this topic is not HOW You HUNT! it's AFTER you kill your pray/retrieving it ! I am sure they can mark it, just like having the perk for finding prays when they alive in green. Maybe make the last lvl of Animal Tracker in such way that you can also track the kill?

Im not sure you ever did any hunting in the game or which version you playing.. but if you play a sitting duck and try to be stealth and take out zombies, that rabbit or wtv you hunting is looong gone my friend!! i have tried many times, and when you get close enough to see the green marking on top of your screen, if you sit there for 3-5sec it is gone! it walks away.. there is no pray that just sits there for you to go and take your time shooting zombies and clearing the way and then aim at it.. i think you should go ahead and try it out. and i am also playing the game on insane mode, and nonetheless most of the time there was always more than 1 zombie near by. AND also depends Where you hunting! forest area, wastelands, snow... The solution isnt sitting and playing stealth and cross your fingers the solution is to actually ADD an X or any other marking so you find your game..

besides..imagine hunting at night or when it gets dark..without a marker there is no way to find it afterwards..

well not the minimap, sorry i called it that, i mean the compass on top of the screen where you see the landmarks or sameway you see the pray in green. after the kill it should show in a red X or green X whichever is fine, just so you dont lose it. especially deers you have to shoot from a very far distance since they get afraid so easily and runs away very fast.

Gyrocopter needs an update or some love..it is shaky, bad landing, cant take off or land let's say on your roof's helipad. needs to be IMO vertical take off and vertical landing rather than a runway. also it is very unstable , can be nicer, better, maybe faster? would be nice to be able to land on a buildings roof or park it on your rooftop or helipad. i really think it needs an adjustment OR just be able to build a helicopter. i mean there is a nice bike, a nice 4x4 jeep, why not a nice helicopter also where your friend can sit next to you with a M60 shooting from it?

You cannot start clearing the area before you shoot down a rabbit or anything else.. the sec you get close to them or try to clear the area they will just run away to another area where there is more zombies.. i think most of you not getting the point where they need to be some sort of perk to see where the body is..forget running after the chicken with a knife or clear the entire area and hope your pray is still sitting there for you to hunt it down.. it is simple! just mark it with an X on the minimap so we can get to it.

Hunting animals with the Compound Bow is very satisfying and fun from a very far distance!! especially when you hear the hit and it goes down cause you have max sneak att dmg multiplier and max box skill. but by the time you run to it and encounter a zombie then you just lose it . you cannot just run to it straight since you turned around maybe few times to kill several zombies before running to your pray.. so some sort of solution marked with an X on your minimap would be great i think..

Hello, lately i have been keeping busy with just hunting in the game and i noticed something. when you shoot down a rabbit let's say from pretty far distance, how do you find your game?! By the time you run to it especially if you hit it in the grass there is no way finding it.. and that is if there is no zombies aggroing you while you run up to it.. Soltuion/Idea : when you sneak and you get the 20sec tracking , it should show your target with an green X or something? so you can run to it and find it is there anything for this in the future...

Why would Stealth get invalidated.. dont you remember the game"Metal Gear Solid" or any other game with sneak or stealth... MAYBE even the paint we get to put into gears like black paint will give you more stealth! or even add a status for stealth and for some bandits or zombies you will need more or less ..

Oh Man i sure hope so!!!! Bandits !!! that will be great! a new challenge! way different, and if they have their own turf or city..

Thx, I checked them all, it seems all the good stuffs or major changes are moving to A21 + so I would say another 2 years.. and none of them has any implementations on bosses, bandits, giant mutated zombies or anything to give you specific locations to go to and find something hard to kill at lvl 50+ let's say.. I just figured when you build your base, work hard to make it strong and get good wpns and vehicles , you can then prepare a journey to go loot and discover these hard, harsh environment areas where survivability becomes another challenge at higher levels. none of those will take place anytime soon I guess or ever.. I will just stop coming on the forum and bug everyone with these hopes and dreams.. after looking at all the videos you pointed out there is nothing on that. and A21 is long far when updates comes out by .1 every here and there..

not trying to be annoying lol and usually ppl that are annoying is because they like something so much they want more haha i just want more challenges in this game cause i enjoy playing it. When you do martial arts, you don't just keep throwing the same punches and kicks over and over and say you been doing this for 10000 hours do you? you go up in belts, you learn different challenging technics, you become better and better and learn even how to use weapons and master them. that is what keeps sports interesting and challenging, trust me if any martial art class was as repetitive as this then you would quit very fast. i have given description of type of mobs, i asked for special tough boss's, mobs, rare drops and loots, the idea is simple! just like ANY other game out there. you see this game has features that none other has, but all the others have features that will make this game one of a kind. My Frustration is the key of succession. not here to break anyone's balls or denigrate the job being done. I support this game and especially the fonder. All my respect towards him. and only blabla i see is you doing so, so if you got nothing good to say then dont say nothing at all. cause there is no behind the scene... they still trying to bring out 1 mod for the vehicles.. lol Look at the Cybertruck from Tesla! no price yet, not ready yet, in development still, ready to come out in 2-3 years maybe ... but still there is a few of them out there and Jay Leno got to drive one also..and Elon Musk brought it on stage to show it. that's how you show your clients and customers we are working to give you something soon.. i actually left the deposit on it .. they show what's called " There is Hope" wait and see.... so idk what car maker company you work ..

I did stop and play other games and come back hoping there is something NEW! NEW as in new areas, new tough mobs, bosses, vehicles etc.. Last night i was playing this and my gf saw a zombie bear and she like OMG whats that?! i was so happy i thought its actually some nasty mutated mob that will kill both of us or we run away.. but was just the same old ass bear ... funny thing she's like oh its just a bear... thats what i am trying to say in this forum but they just dont get it.. they think im just @%$#ed or a hater lol the game needs some major tough special mobs. not just random mobs in the same mob group.. same mob outside on the street is inside the buildings.. even if you start walking more in those shoes you will have to change them sooner or later.. a little update wont make them new.. not cause you polish that shoe that it will be as new.. so they need some major updates and implement BOSS's, tougher mobs, special mobs. which drop special loot also.. it will give it that extra spice to it you know!

there are games with far more greater complexity out there and giant maps that doesn't run with same concept from start to end. or same mobs going N,S,E,O ..but what do i know.. i dont own a studio but i am a gamer.. i dont build cars either but i drive one.. funny thing i said cars.. even in car industry they do changes every year and change the car completely every 5 year..

Yes free content because it is Alpha right? past 8 years and yes i watched walking dead and glad you mentioned it; if you realized they started with zombies being their main problem and further they got and reached other areas they faced much greater challenge! looters, humans worst than the zombies .. all sort of groups , all looking with different purpose, you were not making a base anymore against zombies but attacks from humans and others. it got tougher and tougher !! even with a nice base and guard watch towers it wasnt safe. my point! why after lvl 10 or wtv it becomes so easy, same mobs same areas same ideas.. everything is right there in the game now, just need different ways to use them, why every house entry is same exact concept? zombie hidding in a closet or in a bedroom? you go through 100 houses all hiding in the same area, 1 zombie in 1 closet.. why not 20 zombies, why not door shots and cant come out and 10 zombies come at you, also why no areas with pitch black inside? so that night vision comes in handy,... idk so much things and ideas

it is 8 years the game is out and still alpha.. just different versions coming out.. so why even give our thoughts and ideas when the game isnt even complete or ready or expansion ? if they working on alpha still and cant implement new contents then why even bother ? 8 years alpha... >.>

Is there a way to NOT see the electric wires all over the place? i tried placing the generator below ground, on the roof, pass the wires from one relay to another but no matter what when you connects to any item you see the entire wire hanging or passing through. why not put an option to hide or see the wire in the option? or when you pull out the wire tool then it reveals them.. i dont see all the electric cables in my house LOL

Obviously, most of you took my topic and train of thought wrong. I meant no disrespect to the dev. None. If I were not happy with the game, I would not be playing still or over 1000hrs of it or even be on this forum and recently bought my friend a copy. My frustration is not against them or anyone, it is purely being impatient and fidgety antsy. eager for something new and exciting after first few hours of playing time. Some of you talking about how they are fixing this and that, making it better or what not, I guess you haven’t played any other games that the dev put new contents every now and then. I played FFXI for 15 years, and one thing I learned is the devs learned how to lure you in and keep you there in order to pay that monthly payment, just like WoW online. The point isn’t online, or a monthly fee is associated to it. Just like any other game there is something called “EXPANSIONS” All these years, why this game does not have an expansion to bring new mobs in, bosses, areas where you need that coop option to invite a friend and help you discover and loot because it is just too hard to go by yourself, unless you very high level and well geared. Every successful game has an expansion or part 2,3 … Not just updates to make the blood look better or add 1 zombie stripper that acts and dies same way as others. A19 and still the same core idea, yes! it has impeccable graphics, details etc.. but how many times do I have to restart the game just to get that excitement at the starting cause I have no gears and need to struggle to get some equip and a safe place to establish base or hide at night. Just like RL anything you want to achieve, needs hard work! And once you achieve it you focus on new things and bring up a new challenge. If you get a Million $ you don’t go to same places and drive the same car, do you? You go to new areas, buy new cars, and discover new things. Which creates new exciting adventures. A game is supposed to be the same concept. If at level 1-10 I am fighting and looting same houses and mobs. Then what is the difference at level 50-100? you still fighting same mobs and loot same houses. If at level 1-10 I have the chance of looting same item as level 50-100 then what is the excitement on that? I kill that same mobs at level 1 with 10 arrows and kill it later with 2 arrows. I still want to find mobs at lvl 100 that I need to shoot them 10x to bring them down. As long as there is struggling in a game, it holds the key recipe for a successful game. This game has everything you need to grow your chr and base with, but missing needs contents to use it on. I let you guys with this train of thought and whatever the devs do or try we will play it when we bored I guess. not like we need to pay for it each month. Honestly if this game had expansions, I would buy all of them. Instead of a hat or clay lol

( A HOT AIR BALLOON !!!!!!) make sure to have coal or something so you don't crash lol that would be amazing install lights on it also and storage and let your buddy to get in to maybe in cold areas the fire burns faster.. you upgrade the energy intact to go faster higher.. etc and you can park it on top of your base or roof still same concept, same mobs, same type of buildings and vehicles.. one you reach certain level, there is no more challenge, no boss, no hard mobs, no places to go discover with different ideas and challenges.. the game can go on forever but need to put some challenging features in it. its all good to put fishing and this and that but what's the point when it will get super easy with higher levels too fast. need newer areas, special areas with harder mobs, different mobs, several boss's and mutated giant mobs.... so all that fishing and harvesting pays off! what is the point to get so strong when you will have to kill the same stupid waitress mob or fat cop.. also i tell you what to add ; -automatic garage door opener (remote) when i am in a vehicle and coming to my base i would like to be able to open my powered garage door with a assigned key ex: press # 9 or 0 or wtv so the garage door opens and i don't have to come out of the car and run to it open it and then run back to the car and go in and come out and close it.. what is the point of a powered door if you cant open it by distance like the remote in your car.. -i always said this game needs a lawnmower! a grass trimmer .. instead of hitting it with a knife or your fists... over 12 million copies sold at min 20$usd/copy and over 240mill $ USD and 8 years later game moving slower than a sloth !!!

I'm not sure if the creator played other games to get some new ideas.. get up to date it with new concepts out there.. come on man, put some energy into it. don't let your fans down! me an my gf uninstalled the game from our pc.. waiting for some new concept or update..but seems the steam train is at a long lasting station and not moving lol
