    At least in one case (mine 😒) the savegame from B29 wouldn't load after installing b30 (after "creating world" while "Creating player", last Log-entry: "EXC NullReferenceExeption" ).

     

    Edit: Again I was too fast: A second attempt to load worked. Seems to work. I leave this post to (hopefully) help others.

    a few months ago I did some german translations (several hundreds, more to go) on 19.2. To to this, I opened and modified translations.txt in Google Sheets, which worked well. But: While I was working on it, Khaine released version 19.3 with a modified localization.txt. So I had to do a diff between my and the new version, which I posted here, and finally found its way into the next release.

     

    This time, A20 is ante portas with many changes in translation, so a diff with 19.5 is probably unpractical. I suggest you wait for A20 and then start translating. Maybe we can share the work, you do some lines, I do others? Khaine, what do you think?

    This logs mentions the mod "ActiveIngredients", which is known to break linux und therefore is removed from DF 3.5/A19.5. I suggest you try updating server and clients to vanilla 19.5 and then install DF servermaster/clientmaster (or if you have to stay with 19.4 for some reasons, remove the mod active ingredients from server and clients).

    Yes. You loose Wellness/Hitpoints from dying and some sorts of suffering, which is quite hard to restore, especially at the beginning.

    You don'T need to hack the game: You can build Mods to speed up most vehicles (other mod are eg for brighter lights or less fuel consumption).

    You could open https://kui.github.io/7dtd-map/ and drop all mapfiles, eg from ...Steam\steamapps\common\DarknessFalls - A19.4\Mods\0-DarknessFallsCore\Worlds\DFalls-Large1\ - but you need to use chrome as browser.

     

    Edit: And it has to be Chrome, not anything else, eg vivaldi, Opera, etc, as they cannot show all features like the real Chrome.

    I never saw bears or radiated on day 7 (dogs? not sure). Anyway, surviving outside is almost impossible. Thus, I look for a flat concrete building, climb up, whack some holes to shoot down and survive all boring blood moons ;) Yep, that's cheesy, but it ousmarts the zombies logic.

    Look for "foreign" mods. You can't use most other mods together with DF.

    I've done a fresh install of 7 days.  I copied the game directory to a new location.  I then copied and overwrote the server zip files into the new 7 days folder.  I made a couple edits to the serverconfig.xml and then launch the dedicated server.  Its an endless sea of red txt in the terminal window.  If I then load another directory with the modded game client it just sits at retrieving configs when connecting.  One of the first errors I see is that it cannot load blocks.xml.  I am running 19.3. Is this an ok version to run?  I would upload my startup log but I dont see a button to do that.

    This ist how i got the server working: Installed 7D2D with SteamCMD (https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/7_Days_to_Die_Dedicated_Server), then copied the contents of the server zip.
