    It will not work with DF, as it seems to depend on vanilla skills. Probably it can be adapted by some xml-editing by some who knows what has to be done. Not me sorry, and in the past Khaine focused on DF, not on other Mods. If you want to experiment by yourself, take a look at BDubs Vehicles, which are modified and included in DF. If you analyze the changes here you may be able to change UBBI there.

     I messed up when we first started our server and used Pregen6k instead of DFPregen6k.  So I learned how to move our base and Characters with Skills and Levels intact. I found how to give the Find Anna quest but not how to meet Razor and the white river scouts don't offer anything under "Do you Have any other work". I don't want to wipe the Factions file completely though. 

    Shamelessly stolen from the FAQ: You can use the following commands to give yourself the quest (requires admin) For Razor (given by the white river scout after doing 10 missions for her): givequest whiteriver_visit_razor

    It's a mod for gloves that shows the time permanently, as long as you wear it.

The installation dir should only be writable with admin rights. That is why the new path for logfiles is not in the installation dir anymore. And this is also why the Mods folder moved out of the installation dir

     

    ofc you're right. And I, too: I meant the DF-installation (the mod), not the 7d2d-installation (the program).

     

    My fault, although: I mistyped  "If you installed the game [..]" where it should be "if you installed the mod [..]". My bad. -.-

    Depends on your type of installation: If you installed the game the new A20 way, it is Drive:\[path toinstallation]\Saves.

The latest version 4.1.2 hardly increases loading time, as Khaine did some compression magic. 7d2d in general can stutter on bigger maps, so you could use a smaller map and your potato friend should nerf the graphic options. I had fun with 8Kmaps on a 10 yo Notebook with dedicated graphics (some mobile Nvidia-chip from 2012) and 16 gb RAM, even on multi. And he may be able to google tweaks for 7d2d on old machines (eg increase virtual memory - may slow down a bit, but still have fun!)

    (regarding A20 - Krunch.and.Lemons.Excellent.Adventure.12.v1.2) I started with savegame name "Amazone" (next try would have been B-something) and I was born at a different place. My first try :)

    Okay, then I understand. In a nutshell: If you generate a map yourself, you have to make sure that all DF POIs are included and add them manually if necessary. It is much easier to use a predefined map with DFalls in the name or, if you have already played through all of them, a map from Capt_Krunch. I can highly recommend https://www.nexusmods.com/7daystodie/mods/2630, but it's probably more for advanced players.

    It is really awesome, as it includes some minor mods to intensify the dark mood. I am just in my first playthrough, and I plan three more on this map: It hast four separate quarters, each with its own DF-structures, each with several unique POIs I want to explore (hope to get useful starting points by trying different names for the savegame).

     

    Really awesome, really the best map I played yet.

    Why don't you use the search on this thread - or read at least the posting just before yours? Really?
    Just in case you already know each stone in all pregenerated DF-maps, you may try https://www.nexusmods.com/7daystodie/mods/2630 which is quite quite quite big, but fantastic, even as single player.

    It's a bug (AFAIK fixed in the actual beta, see some postings above), and to my knowledge there is no easy walk around (unless you're familiar with editing worlds). It should not matter that much: If you cleared all that's reachable, you're mostly done with your world. If you want to stay to check higher gamestages, you could try to buy the portal key from caitlin to get a laser workbench. But chances are that Annas hideout in your game is bugged too, but that is another story :)

     

  15. Khaine advises against Modlauncher. Does the client run in single player, which DF-version shows up? I would delete the game client, and try a clean and manual install. And I recommend copying the complete 7d2d-folder and starting the game from this copy (so steam cannot mess up your install).
