After redownloading the mod, and getting a fresh install from steam, Mission Successful!!! Thank you very much for all the help!

I am not on the best connection in the world. Its going to take another 15-25 minutes to download and If one last try tonight doesn't get it I'll let Steam give me a fresh vanilla overnight tonight. Issues aside, I'm spoiled. After so many hours playing DF I've started playing a vanilla navazgane A19 game and... well I sure do walk around alot (as opposed to DF: fighting zoms, exploring places or shrieking at the number of demonically possesed critters there are trying to eat me). It looks nice but the lack of laser weaponry has me pining for DF. pew pew!

It is. I just cant figure out if I need a new download because something got hosed along the way or if my pc is not copying something correctly. I even tried unzipping the mod to a separate folder and copying it into the copy folder of the game I made. No dice. I still feel like I am doing something inherently wrong... Or it could be my fear of spiders manifesting itself to self sabotage at this point.

Okay. I'm going to start from the ground up, fresh install of the game and new download of the mod. Is the bit of code telling me that I need to get a copy of 0harmony.dll and put that into the appropriate folder?

OMG its huge. Its seriously over 14 megs. And it says "NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object" A LOT. Well, I thought it was helpful Having the same issue where it hangs (image attached). Interesting twist though. Whereas I can see logfiles from yesterdays attempts, post watching the vid (and following the directions) it hangs but makes no log text file in the 7DaysToDie_Data folder. Yesterday I was just trying to add files to the steamapps/common/7d2d folder and got logs. Today I verified steam files, copied to a different folder (with a goofy name so I would remember where I put it) merged folders/copied files from the zip (over 2000 conflicts to replace) and it hangs at the same screen but no log. I suspect whomever is responsible for the zombie apocalypse is stealing my logfiles. In all seriousness would a pastebin of yesterdays attempts be at all helpful? (Thank you again for the help. Greetings! Fellow lover of DF here. Gray haired and long in the tooth but still playin games till I die. I am currently having trouble loading v3 for a19. I was able to download the zip file and after copying the files to my 7d2d directory the game would hang on start up. ("loading game files"). So I verified files through steam then reinstalled the files from the zip. And unfortunately no luck. I can verify files in steam and play vanilla at any time, but am jonesing for my df fix. The screen it is hanging on is the vanilla splash screen (with the trees) and now is the part where I sheepishly have to admit I vaguely remember something similar to this happening when I installed DF for a18... and I can't for the life of me remember what the heck I did to get it to work. Do I need to have a full fresh install of the base game before copying the files/folders from the zip? I honestly think I'm just missing something basic and I apologize in advance for the rookie errors.
