So I went down to a 8Km map and it worked. Apparently i dont have enough ram for a huge map
Thisa might just be an experimental thing because I was able to generate the largest maps in A19

I did all of the prestuff. Cleared history etc but it gets to generating water and shuts down the game.
Running on a GTX 1660 Super.

I saw a streamer using the pipe version of it. It seemed pretty good although it was clearly a starter weapon.
I would imagine that the perk works for it although I'm not sure I would spend points in it due to the lack of punch that the full stun baton has

It still is a survival game and for those of us who haven't put in hundreds or thousands of hours and know our way around the survival mechanisms then it can be a challenging one.
To add to this, I'm not sure you can call it an RPG at all in that most people are playing their own games by themselves or with select friends and only have the voices in their heads to keep them company. Just a regular day at the office as far as that goes. I wouldnt say that the game mechanics lead us toward a role playing game at all.
I guess what I'm saying is that I dont follow the basic premise of your post.

Naw ive been waiting since April. I played about 600 hours last Fall and Winter and I expect I will do the same this year once its out.
I wont spoil it now. @%$#, It will almost be like playing a new game it has been so long

For me, at a certain point it's all about building things. I love renovating buildings and either renovating them or rebuilding them entirely.
One of the reasons that I am 100% in support of this Alpha 20 release.

This is one of buildings that I am renovating right now. I've gone a lot further in it but i cant seem to find the latest pics.
The inside is a total reno job. I am up to floor # 3 now.
In the garage portion of the building (which you cant see) I have built a mine that goes all the way to the earth base. I think I am mining all of my stuff there now.
A TON of materials have gone into this so far

I am never in enough danger outside for me to have to create a distraction to disengage.
If i dont feel like fighting zombies, which is rare, I just go around them.
If i die outside it is almost always because i didn't see one of the animals that comes round the corner.
I dont think throwing rocks does much to distract them ...?

The drone is a tricky thing.
IMO one thing we dont need is something that is OP and will take the danger factor out of the game.
I would rather see them add mundane things at first and see how it goes before giving it too many features.

Well said. It doesnt matter whether or not I agree if we should have strip clubs, "women in cages", Munchez Carpets, or the mens @%$# bar - I cant remember the name, (etc).

I've never played games into the thousands but I have played several to almost 100 days and have never had any of the issues that you seem to describe.

This really depends on what you want to do.
Like most, in most games I give up when i simply overpower the bloodmoons
but in one game i have played foredver because I am completely rebuilding a 7 story building.
So a different goal there

Spawn at same spot every game

So I have had this problem since i started playing several years ago
When I generate a random map I spawn in the same spot every time when I start a new game on it.
Done some research and everyone says you have the name your game differently
So I started to name my games differently to test this out. Same result.
I cleaned my data. Same result
None of my friends have this issue and we have compared all of our settings so it's nothing there.
Any ideas what it could be?
