  1. Well I guess I don't have issue with this because its a vanilla thing. It got removed when they removed learn by doing in A17. If you wanted to increase your skill you had to be in bench/campfire. So you were probably not around before A17. If thats how he wants to do his class quest, so be it. I like you are learning to be a specific class by doing.

Dont remember DF add this type of skill, just gather items and craft in backpack.

  2. Idiot's dream!

Erased your mod, I won’t bet anymore!

This is same thing with people complaining about issues in EXPERIMENTAL. It say in OP, V7.0.7 BETA. He has already fix lots of issues.

  3. Guess I should point out possible drawbacks depending how you like things.

    1. it is a loot heavy mod, with lots of toys and junk. Junk can be scrapped into useful mats, and toys usually sell for 160 dukes.

    2. Everthing is lvl gated, but you can usually find most stuff in loot so for me not big deal.

This is my fav overhaul, because I love looting. DF is my second for late game content.

  4. Rwg works fine. No special areas that might not spawn. Well this A18 version i did have issue with his class trader spawning. Only found 1 in 2 fresh starts. Messed with xml and finally got 6 or 7. Always had plenty of vanilla traders tho. There are plenty of his own POIs to explore also.

  5. what shelf lootable mod works with DF? I have tried War3's I have tried The Reaper's, and neither of them work. My friend says he only knows the name of the mod he had and it was LootableShelfMod1.6 from a screenshot of his mod folder from before he wiped.

I have not played DF since WoW was released, but I used Stalliondens lootable shelves, pallets, and other mods fine in DF. you will need to start new game, otherwise it will only work for areas you have not discovered yet. You might get some pop up warnings in console sometimes, but it worked.

  6. Well previous alphas it was all about spam crafting, so you did mostly at night. Main reason i didnt mind seeing it removed.

I kind of forgot about throwing rocks. I did it at beginning of A17, till I realized I didn't have to anymore.

Didn't really mine unless I was lucky enough to find pick axe.

  7. In vanilla I usually go out and harvest. First hour or so is deciding where I am putting my points. Typically have many point from all killing and quest I have done, and depending on weapons i have found is which skill tree I go with. Then I will look for the zombies that have come out in night, and if not many will kill them with bow to go harvesting mats. Overhauls it takes much longer as there are more options for skills or actual classes, and there may be crafting to do for class quests.
