Very tough mod - thank you very much, Fun Pimps, and all other prefab smarties PROBLEM: permanent death when not intentional It's day 47-ish on Spider's mod and I lost my toon for what I believe must have been leaving on-time game/server with 90-100 wellness. Returned to 'puter later that day to discover my toon was perm-death? THIS IS WEIRD!?!??!?!?!? I am running a server with no wits about programming. is there any possible solution to this since I am have ZEROx200% interest in starting from scratch? Guys, really, this is a problem and wiping the player file does not cut the mustard. PLEASE DONT CHANGE PERMAMENT DEATH. Just playing thru your game mod with as much integrity as possible... but this is a problem that I feel only a coder can handle at this point. Wishing for help with permadeth (total wellness loss)(cannot spawn new character) Hello & thank you endlessly; Spider, for making the time to build a top-notch survival spin on 7D2D! (and I also thank all contributors) I seldom use forums directly and do not know if I am doing this correctly but... We could really use ANYONES help to learn how to enable players to spawn back onto our server game after perma-death. -->No one has been able to rejoin the server with a new character -->I do not believe this was the intention of Spider's A16.2 True Survival mod but am somewhat desperate for a 'work-around' -->I have read in this forum that Spider reset someone's toon and wish to know if anyone may know how -->we're using BlueFangSolutions servers service Thank you

Thank you very much for the reply Sphereii I edited my original post before I realized that you had replied - thank you! Turns out that my game is modded with ValMod BB, the server is modded with ValMod BB, but my Bro is having issues with his ValMod BB mod where the new UI is not displaying ingame (he can reach the server game and 'play' normally however the UI is all "???'s" --> could this be due to that fact that his puter is running 32bit win? (yea, we need to change that I know) If this can be confirmed I would certainly have a lead on getting this fixed and back into game! Question(s)! your launcher is superb gamer tool Sphereii Hi Sphereii, I am attempting to put together a modded server at gameservers.com that utilizes your launcher though I am very much a stranger to properly placing computer files across a number of utilities/services unfortunately. I have read many of the discussions around your launcher and before I can really begin I am hoping to confirm if there are specific server hosts (bluefang, gameservers, etc) that may be better suited to use your launcher and other mods? Or am okay to proceed with modding the server file(s) directly via ftp-tool site? I fortunately modded both my game files and the server with success, now my issue is that player(s) with 32bit are having issues with getting the new UI interface to display properly --> suggestions anyone??? I've been playing 7d2d since the radar was on the UI with 7 (and counting) friends and family joining in along the almost 1300 hours of gameplay - I certainly figure its time to enhance this excellent game if I can! Any direction you can pass someone (me) that has very little file modding experience would be most appreciated.
